| Hello everyone, i recently build a new PC (after being stuck with a i5-5600, GTX 780)but recently some "things" happens in like GTA, CSGO, Warzone 2 or any other game that require internet. So i searched online for some answers but eh nothing, so i tried to see if my RAM was having some problems related to compatibility or latency. I used LatencyMon and uhh... yeah the results are just... weird ? Heyo! I hope that your day is going well so far - and thank you for reading!
Some background here - I've already lost a significant amount of weight but I've changed up my workout routine some and would like some different perspectives of what number to aim for to lose 1 lb/week. I tried bulking without doing enough research (whoops lol) and just ended up putting on weight with little muscle gain.
So... I'm a 165 lb, 27 y/o female. I go to the gym 5 days/week. 3 of those days I do strength training for about 45 minutes. Each of those 5 days I do cycling - 40 minutes low intensity, 25 minutes moderate intensity, 10 minutes high intensity. I do get 10k steps in every day of the week but take the weekends off of exercising. ... I'm 5'6", I forgot that height does matter for a moment there.
I aimed for 1,700 to lose before, but I was not super happy with it. Though I wasn't hungry (I ate volumetrically), I felt kinda low energy. I'm unsure if it was just in my head or not tho. Should I be aiming for a bit higher to lose a pound a week?
I'm just aiming to lose 10 lbs. I have loose skin from weight loss so just being in the top of my healthy range is good enough for me. I know I can technically lose more in a week (1% body weight, all that), but I'm not interested in that at this point because I am active.

- I have been roleplaying since 2012. Yes, I got experience under my belt, and yes, my ideas usually have really long reads, but don't let that scare you off! - My timezone is EST. I'm awake from 9am - 2am and I'm usually free unless I'm busy doing house chores, out of the house, asleep, or playing video games on my switch. I'm usually become REALLY active at or around 8pm.
Rules:
1: if you don't like 50/50 mixture of sex scenes and story, don't bother hopping into my inbox. I'm fine with sex scenes, but when it's constantly back to back, the roleplay itself gets boring.
2: Be literate. No one liners. I like to write..it's annoying when I send a 2-3 paragraph response and I get 3 lines...just...no. I am not accepting people who are just starting out! If you aren't experienced in writing or roleplaying, kindly stay out of my inbox.
3: Be okay with playing canon characters. I'm mainly doing fandom roleplays right now and it's going to be Canon x my oc. No, I'm not doing double ups. Do not even ask, because the answer will be no every time. I do not give a shit if you think that makes me 'lazy' or 'selfish', if you've got a problem, you can simply ignore or block me. Commenting on my post to bitch and whine about me not doubling up will only result in me blocking you. The ONLY time I'll double up, and if I'm confident enough, I'll only do female characters. 4: Roleplay in third person. I can't and won't adapt to first. Don't even bring up the idea of you playing first person and me playing third. Believe it or not, I've been asked this twice and that is just a hell no for me. The only time I do first, is when I'm writing into my book.
5: if you don't know how to share ideas, then don't bother messaging me. I'm tired of carrying the story when the other person doesn't help. If you've got ideas, then PLEASE speak up! Your opinion on the roleplay matters too! I'm an easy going person, and easy to get along with (dispite my rules).
6: DO NOT control my character. I control what she says, does, hears, sees, ect. I don't control yours, so don't control mine. HOWEVER, if it's highly necessary and needed, then run it by me first and ask me. Just leave me some wiggle room so I can make a decent response. Failure to comply by this rule, results in immediate drop of the rp.

Yes, I've updated my rules just a tad. I do not care if it makes me sound mean or rude, because I'm neither of these things. I'm just tired of putting these rules down for a specific reason and they go ignored because I can tell when someone hasn't read them, and lied about it. I'm just trying to get my point across and roleplay. I'm a very easy going person who loves to make friends on the side (which I've somewhat given up on making friends...only a selective few have actually gained my friendship).

I moved into my apartment fresh out of college with a suitcase full of hope, an English degree and student loans. I had just become a teacher and I was very excited. But I didn't have a big budget so I moved to an (comparably but not really) cheap apartment. It looked very nice. It was supposed to be gated and kids were running around. It seemed like a good pick. Unfortunately, I quickly learned that Management, didn't manage anything.
- There is an infestation of roaches. I had to dig into my own pocket to make my unit livable.
- There is a pipe right behind my building that spews sewer water into the surrounding areas. No attempts to clean have been made.
- This is supposed to be gated gated community but none of the gates shut and none of the locks on any of the doors function. At all times of the day. Anyone could come onto the property.
- Because of the open system of the community vandalism and crime are a consistent. My car has been broken into twice. It was stolen pretty recently. The gym and the mailroom have been broken into.
- Maintenance never does their job. It took a month to get my door fixed. And eight months for them to come and fix the appliances in my kitchen.
The end of it all is no matter how many times I bring up and issue to them they just tell me it is on the list or their get to it later in the year. This company is extremely unprofessional and money hungry. There are much nicer, cleaner, friendlier and safer complexes out there, think twice before moving. And I forgot to mention there's gun fire constantly! I do not feel safe. With having my car vandalize twice and stolen, it is only a matter of time before brakes my window and starts stealing from my home. And it's not like management would care or help. And maintenance would take a couple months before they came a fixed the window. I am terrified and I am struggling to get to and from work. This is the worst decision of my life. And make sure to read your lease very closely before signing it. You may get charged for them watering the landscape, filling the pools, you get charged for the lighting in the parking lots. I am highly disappointed in this place I pay my rent on time every month and I am still waiting for things to get fixed. I am attempting to break my lease but so far they have only ignored everything that I have sent or said. I will probably end up having to sue them for these unsafe conditions. Which I don't even how to do or how much it will cost me.
From start to finish this place has been the worst! Please, believe the reviews!

I don’t really want to pump in between feeds and mess with my supply. For those who have flown with milk, is it easier to bring frozen and keep it frozen? This is a long one, thank you for reading if you do.
I've been type 2 for probably over 5 years now. I have made great progress in bringing my sugars down from extremes to just above normal, normal in the morning at fasting.
My diet is not perfect. A lot of the little things that could be replaced for healthier options are basically the last pieces of comfort food I have. My previous nutritionist would always comfort me with fed is best. But the nutritionist at my doctor's office changed and the new one wants me to make the changes to better options.
I don't know if it qualifies as an eating disorder or not, but I often struggle to make sure I'm eating meals regularly. Since having the libre I can now see at all times how high I am and it makes me want to not eat. I'm aware that not eating is just going to push my sugars higher but I can only win that battle in my brain so much of the time.
I do aquafit for 45 minutes Monday-Friday. I had a really good month for February but when I visited my endo she told me I still needed to get better. And it kinda made me feel like all this progress is useless.
The last week I have been really high and can't seem to get it down. I've had to resort to my favourite foods like spaghetti and sushi just to tempt me to eat and I'm even struggling for that.
Am I alone? Is the guilt a normal thing to struggle with?

1) If I play a PC game will I only get the resolution and refresh rate of my monitor?

3) Is there a way to only render a PC game on the Quest 2 and having the monitor just display the blank desktop?
4) Is Virtual Desktop still a better alternative to Airlink if I want to use my Quest as a Desktop monitor replacement?
5) I usually have a 3 monitor setup on my Desktop PC. Is there a way to have multiple windows floating in the VR space? One large for my games and the others for like discord and a floating browser.

I thought I would share my experience with STEPN – so far.
I used the app frequently last year during the bull and did really well (I earned USD $43,000 running for two months – sold all my shoes at a slight loss perhaps around May last year)
So I am now getting back into this.
It has been two months and I run six days a week – around 1 hour each time.
I invested around $1800 or so and bought 8 sneakers (common) and a really nice rare with three red slots and one very high quality luck slot. I bought decent gems for those (including a level 5 luck gem)
I am grading selling down GMT into USD but it’s a slow process. For mystery boxes, with 11 energy I usually get a level 5 box – sometimes level 4 and so far a single level 6.
Fast forward to today and the GMT value of all my stuff (shoes, gems and coins) is up 35%. That’s great for two months. I think on average the GMT price might be 10% below or so where I started. So still a good 25% return in two months.
But most of all I’ve lost a bit of weight and am happy.

2023.03.28 01:56 chad_09 20M, losing patience and hope with back injury, can someone please provide some guidance every doctor i see says the same thing yet their treatments aren’t doing anything and I’m slowly getting worse
So next Wednesday it will be a year of this bullshit, I was working in a sawmill lifting heavy wood and twisting right to left everyday while bearing weight and lifting 100lbs carts multiple times a day on my own and my back just blew up and I haven’t been at work since, we have a workplace injury insurance type of thing called WorksafeBC in my province and through them I went through 2 physio/recovery programs in an attempt to fix me and shove me back to work without having to MRI or any real fixes, finally got the MRI in October and here were the results:
L2-L3 small disk bulge, not contributing to anything
L3-L4 small disk bulge, not contributing to anything
L4-L5 Left sided broad based disk protrusion contributing to narrowing of nerve opening
Since then all I’ve heard from multiple doctors is the disk protrusion is nothing unusual and isn’t what is contributing to my pain, I have never had back problems in my young life before this and with all these doctors telling me the same thing but their shit ass treatments and 8 prescriptions I’ve been given doing literally nothing for me. The weird part about my injury and why I think doctors write me off is my strength is fine and my mobility is also pretty good but the pain is horrible, it would occasionally shoot down my legs, I used to have my feet go numb but that had slowed down, but I have this constant 7/10 at the lowest pain in the center of my lower back, right over the spine and it never lets up, only ever gets worse.
So bringing us to right now I’m in a 6 week pain management program which I’m in week 6 of and things haven’t really been getting better… since Friday they’ve actually gotten much worse out of nowhere Friday morning I was in more pain than usual but still took my ass to the program because I’m desperate to get better and doing anything they tell me in an effort to. About 1.5 hours into my program which involved lifting some 12lbs dumbbells as exercises there doing squats with them and front raises, my pain went to the worst it’s been and hasn’t let up since, I called in today and told them I couldn’t go through that with this level of pain so I’m staying home. On Friday I had left early to go to the ER cuz the pain was that bad, the doc at the ER once again said that the protruding disk isn’t causing all these issues and shot me up with morphine and gave me 6 1mg hydromorphone pills with no direction on how many to take, the next day when the morphine wore off the pain was back just as strong, 1mg of hydromorphone did absolutely nothing so 8 hours later I took 2mg to try and sleep and they once again did NOTHING. Today I go to a walk in just out of desperation to hear something different and yet again hear the same bullshit. I’m sitting here stuck in bed with debilitating pain in my spine that shoots all the way down both legs with no way to relieve it but am told that this program that I’m in the last week of is what’s going to help me?
And I’ve had flare ups obv but this feels like no flare up I’ve ever had, this feels like my original injury x2
And the most stressful part is Worksafe just put me into something called vocational rehab to help me find a similar paying job that’s not as physical so I can get back to working a real job, but especially with how I am right now I couldn’t be a fucking Walmart greeter for 4 hours of my day let alone work something that requires a great degree of focus or any sort of physical ability.
Outside of these programs I’ve been sent to I’ve also lost 60lbs but things just keep getting worse for my back. So I’m feeling very hopeless and don’t know what to do. I feel like I’m just being pushed through a system with no real help anywhere from anyone, does anyone please have a recommendation or anything, I’m literally living with almost every symptom of a herniated disk now but no doc wants to say anything other than that disk on the MRI should have healed by now and shouldn’t be causing any problems like this.
I’m getting desperate and feeling very hopeless, anything that even has the potential to be helpful is so much more appreciated than you even think it could be, so please if you read this and have many thought PLEASE share
Small Update: using the bathroom to poop causes the back pain to get worse and 5 mins on the toilet and my lower left leg and foot has gone tingly and slightly numb feeling.

I have been trying to get a handle on the game but some things are confusing and frustrating me:
- Undead stacks report much lower strength, then wipe out my white-magic human stacks easily. What is the number referring to? Is it just a trap?
- Titans seem to be a weird auto game-over which feels bad like I am wasting my time. I am rolling along, building up, expanding out then one is whipped up by someone I was not picking a fight with and it wipes out every stack without even losing units. Focus firing, not effective at all.
- I am on my turf for the bonuses
- I am fighting undead with white magic, recently got paladins and healers
- I have tried attacking their tower first, but the medusas and undead defenders though they had much lower strength number were impossible.
- It is week 15, is that supposed to be endgame? I have focused on tower upgrades and controlling nodes, but I am only half done.
- I can see ways that I could bamboozle the AI by launching the tower, surrounding their stack but that can't be the game intent right?
- I am on balanced difficulty
- Playing alchemist, I have been trying to keep up with making potions etc. as they seem powerful but if I have to keep restarting it is going to be tedious redoing the ramp up just to hit Game Over.
- Pre-knowledge of the map seems to be absolutely required, but RNG can also screw you. The big city had taverns were too far apart to fit both in my lodge radius for example.
What am I doing wrong here?

My baby girl was born over the weekend! She is amazing and my wife is recovering well. Age labored for 16 hours until 8 in the morning, so we didn't get to sleep until we were awake for about 42-44 hours. And it's been 2 hour chunks ever since.
Question for you all - what strategies did you try in the first few weeks to get as much sleep as you thought you could?
My wife and are only on day 3, but I've tried to give her an extra 2-3 hours by taking the baby out of our room after the last night time feeding (4ish AM) and keeping the baby with me for 90 min after our last daytime feeding (7-8PM). Even though the baby has interrupted my wife's sleep a couple times for feeding, I think my wife is getting "enough" sleep.
I've "caught up" on my sleep today with a 2.5 hour late afternoon nap during a time when my wife was feeling awake and confident she could take care of things with limited mobility (still very much recovering).
What did you do during this super early period, fellow dads? Am I on the right track or is there something that worked for you I could try?

I’ve been hosting a dedicated server for two games; Space Engineers and Valheim.
A little backstory:
Usually I only set one up at a time, temporarily (usually for 6-8 months) for my fiends group to play on. We have about 10-15 people who play on both games scattered throughout the day.
But to my ignorance I have set up both at the same time and it’s a little laggy on both ends. Occasional stuttering on both and slight sim-speed drop on SE. Right now most of us are playing Valheim. ~10 people on Valheim, 3-5 on SE.
PC Specs for Server:
i7-4790k 32gb 2666mhz.
I have a spare 4790k sitting in an unused gaming pc right now and I’m wondering if I should either buy a dual processor motherboard or simply buy a server, small rack etc.
SE requires 3.2 ghz and 3 logical cores minimum
Valheim requires 3.4 ghz and quad core (4v cores minimum).
What would be the best route for me to take to be able to handle both games well?
