I feel like I’ve aged 20 years since last Friday. I had to end my lease prematurely because my landlords are complete slumlord and the apartment is full of black mold and it was making me sick.
I’m stuck staying at my mom’s house until I can get a flight out of here. She won’t listen to a word I say. My boyfriend who has been helping me with the arrangements and I had specific plans laid out to make this move as easy as possible. she’s trying to take over the process completely and it’s stressing me the fuck out and over complicating everything!
I’m not bringing a lot of stuff, only four boxes. We had plans to have those shipped as soon as they were out of my old place so that we can pick him up at the local UPS The day my lease begins and I get my keys. That way, since I know they’re not gonna arrive in three days, considering I’m moving halfway across the US, I won’t have to wear the same clothes for an entire week.
She’s insisting on not shipping them until the very last minute. My move-in date is three days from now, they’re not gonna arrive in that amount of time. When I try to speak with her about why I want them shipped as soon as possible, she just screams at and talks over me.
I also want to book my flight through American Airlines because I’m familiar with them and their TSA guidelines concerning pets. I have already prepared for this because I’ve gotten a TSA compliant carrier for my cat. My mom ditched that carrier and insist that I take another one that’s not only far too large to be TSA compliant, but is so fragile she could easily bust out of it.
She’s also insisting that I have my cat as checked baggage instead of taking her as my personal item. I know that technically you can do that but she’s small and i’ve heard horror stories about what happens to animals that are flown as checked baggage. I’m not taking any chances, she’s a kitten that imprinted on me and has separation anxiety. No way!
She is also insisting that I don’t fly with American and choose allegiant instead. I’ve told her 1 million times that allegiant does not fly to that area of the US. I have checked myself. Still has my boyfriend. As nice as it would be to have a cheaper flight, there’s nothing I can do about it not flying to that area. She won’t listen to me and literally pushed me away from the computer when I was trying to book my ticket.
After two fucking hours of repeating myself until I was on the verge of a mental breakdown. She finally realized that I can’t use allegiant. But now she’s trying to book the flight through a third-party app and I don’t want that done because in the end it will only charge us more money.
I just want things to be done the way they were last time I flew on a plane. This is only my second time being on a plane in the first place so I want to keep the process is familiar and simple as possible And moving is stressful enough. She won’t listen to me and I ended up paying $100 more than normal.

In a conference room, far from any prying eyes or video, sat 14 figures in darkness, only barely illuminated enough to make out the general outline of their body and the table that 13 of them resided upon, while the 14th sat upon a chair lowered from them. The tension radiating from the 14th figure was palpable as they could scarcely imagine why they might be in the position they were in. The 14th's tension built slowly but surely as the minutes ticked by until finally - mercifully - the figure at the center of the large table finally spoke.
"Jacob T. Chasler, of the eagle union. As of today, December 6th, 1941, you are hereby promoted to the rank of commander and will be assigned to joint task force 1, also known as Azur lane. You will receive the proper dispensation forms before departing for pearl harbor at 0500. Dismissed" the figure finishes as Jacobs mouth is left open. It takes Jacob's thoughts several moments before he finally jumps up and quickly walks out of the room. After walking for a few minutes and making sure he was out of ear shot from anyone else, he finally speaks
"WHAT THE F-".

As the destroyer sailed away from the harbor, Jacob for the umpteenth time questioned how he was chosen for this position. "I got mediocre grades in my strategy classes, my exercise performance was slightly below average, and my behavioral record wasn't even the best! So why in all their infinite wisdom did they choose me?!", He questioned himself quietly. He would repeat this cycle of questioning himself once more before they finally reached pearl harbor.
Once Jacob got onto the deck, he couldn't help but admire the view of island - its natural region broken up by cliffs and trees, and further down layed the port, with dozens of buildings around its one area. As Jacob is admiring the view, his gaze finally goes to the dock as they finally stop moving. He notices that there are three woman standing at the beginning of the dock, seemingly in wait for something - or someone.
As Jacob finally disembarks, he starts to fully review the people ahead of him. One of them is a shorter woman with blond hair, violet eyes and wearing a dress top over a black turtleneck, black shorts, a yellow trimmed tailcoat, and stylized red pumps - along with an stylized iron blood -cross tie on her hair, and naval cap.
The next one is a taller woman with an officers cap, light blue hair, red eyes, and wearing a white leotard with a black breast area, and thigh-high black boots, while carrying a lantern that emitted blue light.
And the last one was a slightly shorter woman who was taller than the 1st but shorter than the 2nd, who had long light pink hair, a frilly headband, light blue eyes, a white frilly dress with black trimmings, thigh high white stockings, black dress shoes, and with what Jacob somewhat distressingly noticed were 4 folded wings of differing sizes from each set.
After finally looking at them and reaching where they were at, both the 1st and 2nd woman saluted him with the 3rd giving him a light smile. Right as Jacob was about to say something, the 1st woman begins to speak.
"Welcome to pearl harbor, my name is Z23 of the 1936A class destroyers of iron blood. Am i to assume that you are our new commander?" She asks in a stern but also soft tone as she asks speaks. "Y-yes i am the n-newly appointed commander of Azur lane - Jacob T. Chasler, it is a pleasure to meet you all" he quickly gets out before he has a chance to muck up his introduction. After this the 2nd woman begins to speak.
"It is also a honor and pleasure to meet you Commander Chasler, I am Kuybyshev of the northern parliaments chapyev-class light cruisers, i hope we can work well together in the future of this war" she says with a slight smile on her face, while Jacobs face slightly pales at that expectation that Kuybyshev put on him. Finally the 3rd woman speaks. "It is a pleasure to meet you o' new shepherd of the fleet, i am Theseus of the royal navy's colossus class carriers, i hope that we can also work well together" she finishes. After they are done introducing themselves, we begin to start walking away from the docks and into the port proper where the buildings resides. After a few moments of walking the blond one - Z23 - Begins to speak again
"Commander Chasler, Me, Kuybyshev and Theseus, will be the ones responsible for showing you around the base - the various shops, dorms, the cafeteria, and the meeting hall just to name a few, but first we shall head to your new office so you can familiarize yourself with it" Jacob nodded as she finished speaking. After this they started heading to office building. When they arrived in Jacobs new office he couldn't help but be impressed by it - dark hardwood floors, a decently large book shelf to the left from the entrance and a large hardwood desk in the middle of it all and to top it all off was the fact that his living quarters were quite spacious by his standards by having a dining room, kitchen, and his own bedroom.
After dropping off all of his stuff inside of his bedroom, Jacob walks back into his office to where the ships were currently still there, waiting for him so they could continue showing him around the port. "So what's next on the tour?" Jacobs asks them. After a moment, Kuybyshev responds to his question "the next thing, will be showing you around the various shops we have around port that are run by both kansen and humans alike" she finishes while turning back to face Jacob. "Alright, shall we go then?". After that the four of them begin to walk towards the next area, until suddenly the air raid sirens start blearing, and the bases intercom comes to life.
"SIREN AIR RAID, I REPEAT, SIREN AIR RAID"
Any thoughts that Jacob may have had are immediately snuffed out as a few seconds after the announcement, the wall next to them explodes, and his vision turns to black.

Hi everyone! I have a bunch of fandoms I'm just itching to roleplay. Currently, I would like to play canon female characters in FxM or FxF plots.
I am 19 and in the CET timezone. Discord is the only platform I RP on. I only write in third person and my messages tend to be be pretty long, meaning 400-1000 words on average. Breaking the Discord limit once or twice is something that regularly happens.
LOOKING FOR:

18+ via Discord. Canon/Canon (preferred) can make an exception for Canon/OC in some situations!
Organic Ships: Looking to give ships time to grow, create the chemistry in RP, and enjoy a gradual burn. Prefer the lead in and then 'fade to black' approach for the adult situations.
Character Psychology: Main goal is to dig into the canon history and building on it in interesting ways. Appreciate thoughtful & nuanced portrayals that treat canon characters as complex.
Privacy Respect: Always happy to keep an open OOC dialogue about daily life, media, or news in addition to character talk.
I am really only interested in romance, non-romantic roleplays don't interest me. With that being said I don't want romance to be the sole focus, that gets boring quickly.
I love writing conflicts that ultimately turn into happy endings. (Angst and slow burn romances are my favourite!)

I am a literate writer and expect the same from you. One-liners are only acceptable for the interactions that demand them, but they will remain rare. I will not drown you in text every other response, but I will write up to what I feel is appropriate and I expect you to do the same. I average 3-6 paragraphs once we are past introductory material.
Please be open to writing a cast of characters if the plot calls for it. I don't mind if the focus is solely on two people, but there is room for secondary and background characters.
Enthusiasm to chat about our character and ship, how to crush them and then gushing over fluffy moments. I love crying over characters and what the heck they're doing. I want my heart ripped from my chest from angst, then feeling like it's going to burst from overwhelming cuteness. I want us to love these characters and the world we create. I want to make pinterest boards, spotify playlists, graphics, and toss headcanons back and forth until late at night.

PLOTTING:

Would love to tailor plots to the specific characters and their potential dynamic. I absolutely love the process of plotting, workshopping ideas, spinning off into AUs and generally finding something that can be really character driven.
I put my heart and soul into my characters because love what I do. Please: nothing one-sided. I love OC chatter and I want to be able to send you a meme tagging one of our muses. As a music enthusiast, I compile playlists. I even work on muse-specific Pinterest boards to boost the inspiration. I adore writing mini one-shots of scenes in OOC as a means of plot development, whether or not it's due to a delay in my replies. Character development is a huge part of my time spent roleplaying and as such, I expect you to be just as devoted. In a perfect world, we know each other's characters completely because we have both contributed to their development. That being said, I don't mind if you bring a pre-made character, so long as we can work on other developments together. This is going to be a creation we've made.
Plot-based stuff is going to be all up to discussion. Things can get dark. They can be as dark as you want them to be. On the lighter side, I love the different relationship dynamics that can come of the characters unique personalities. Either way, if you have an idea, spring it on me and we'll see if things work out.
Have an idea for a scene? Found a picture that inspired you? Send it to me! Be invested when it comes to plotting/worldbuilding. There's nothing worse than receiving one sentence in reply to two paragraphs of ideas, or having a doormat partner who says "sure" to whatever I ask. Building ideas one on top of the other, watching them snowball into amazing plot threads brings me joy. But having to pull plot ideas like I'm pulling teeth makes me think you're not interested, and I will lose interest in return.

Hi everyone! I have a bunch of fandoms I'm just itching to roleplay. Currently, I would like to play canon female characters in FxM or FxF plots.
I am 19 and in the CET timezone. Discord is the only platform I RP on. I only write in third person and my messages tend to be be pretty long, meaning 400-1000 words on average. Breaking the Discord limit once or twice is something that regularly happens.
LOOKING FOR:

18+ via Discord. Canon/Canon (preferred) can make an exception for Canon/OC in some situations!
Organic Ships: Looking to give ships time to grow, create the chemistry in RP, and enjoy a gradual burn. Prefer the lead in and then 'fade to black' approach for the adult situations.
Character Psychology: Main goal is to dig into the canon history and building on it in interesting ways. Appreciate thoughtful & nuanced portrayals that treat canon characters as complex.
Privacy Respect: Always happy to keep an open OOC dialogue about daily life, media, or news in addition to character talk.
I am really only interested in romance, non-romantic roleplays don't interest me. With that being said I don't want romance to be the sole focus, that gets boring quickly.
I love writing conflicts that ultimately turn into happy endings. (Angst and slow burn romances are my favourite!)
Story and Character development > Everything else.
I am a literate writer and expect the same from you. One-liners are only acceptable for the interactions that demand them, but they will remain rare. I will not drown you in text every other response, but I will write up to what I feel is appropriate and I expect you to do the same. I average 3-6 paragraphs once we are past introductory material.
Please be open to writing a cast of characters if the plot calls for it. I don't mind if the focus is solely on two people, but there is room for secondary and background characters.
Enthusiasm to chat about our character and ship, how to crush them and then gushing over fluffy moments. I love crying over characters and what the heck they're doing. I want my heart ripped from my chest from angst, then feeling like it's going to burst from overwhelming cuteness. I want us to love these characters and the world we create. I want to make pinterest boards, spotify playlists, graphics, and toss headcanons back and forth until late at night.

PLOTTING:

Would love to tailor plots to the specific characters and their potential dynamic. I absolutely love the process of plotting, workshopping ideas, spinning off into AUs and generally finding something that can be really character driven.
I put my heart and soul into my characters because love what I do. Please: nothing one-sided. I love OC chatter and I want to be able to send you a meme tagging one of our muses. As a music enthusiast, I compile playlists. I even work on muse-specific Pinterest boards to boost the inspiration. I adore writing mini one-shots of scenes in OOC as a means of plot development, whether or not it's due to a delay in my replies. Character development is a huge part of my time spent roleplaying and as such, I expect you to be just as devoted. In a perfect world, we know each other's characters completely because we have both contributed to their development. That being said, I don't mind if you bring a pre-made character, so long as we can work on other developments together. This is going to be a creation we've made.
Plot-based stuff is going to be all up to discussion. Things can get dark. They can be as dark as you want them to be. On the lighter side, I love the different relationship dynamics that can come of the characters unique personalities. Either way, if you have an idea, spring it on me and we'll see if things work out.
Have an idea for a scene? Found a picture that inspired you? Send it to me! Be invested when it comes to plotting/worldbuilding. There's nothing worse than receiving one sentence in reply to two paragraphs of ideas, or having a doormat partner who says "sure" to whatever I ask. Building ideas one on top of the other, watching them snowball into amazing plot threads brings me joy. But having to pull plot ideas like I'm pulling teeth makes me think you're not interested, and I will lose interest in return.

So I’ve got a small space marine force that I’m planning on making into a little combat patrol, but I’m not sure what to paint them up as.
Personally I love the Black Templar colour scheme, but I prefer the rules and lore for Ultramarines, and if I ever expanded any army I really like the idea of being able to field a Primarch. Helbrecht doesn’t quite fill Guilliman’s boots for me.
Any way I could paint up Ultramarines in black power armour with it making sense in-universe? Something like a splinter chapter?

I'm 25 years old and an INFJ-T. I live in Nashville, Tennessee, USA and I'm on Central Standard Time. I'm a Black woman and I stand 5 feet, 7 inches tall. My eyes are brown and I wear glasses. I don't have any tattoos or piercings at the moment.
One thing I want to mention is that I'm currently plus size, AKA a bigger girl. In early August, I'm undergoing gastric sleeve surgery to lose my excess weight in a permanent and sustainable way. As far as my personality goes, I'd describe myself as incredibly empathetic and sweet. I like to help others as much as I can. In person, I'm rather shy, at least at first. People tend to mistake that as weakness or gullibility. I'm anything but, though; my strength lies in introspection and quiet observation. My mother always jokes that I never miss a thing, but it's definitely true. I notice every nuance of a person's actions, words and body language... my intuition hasn't steered me wrong yet! I've been writing since I was six years old but I started taking it seriously around 13 years old. All in all, it's been 19 years. As of right now, I primarily write Fanfiction but in the past, I've written free verse poetry, short stories and I even tried to learn how to write screenplays at one point. I never got into it though lol wasn't good at it.
I wrote my first full-length book in 2018-2019. I started the sequel in early 2020, but I'm still working on it three years later. I lost a LOT of inspiration during the pandemic but I finally emerged from my writer's block. It's always a bop lol.

Music has gotten me through a lot over the years. Yeah, yeah, I know everyone says that. But it truly has. It's shaped my life and introduced me to a lot of things and people that I probably never would've met or done otherwise.
There's no point in saying that I like xyz genre because I listen to/have listened to pretty much everything except country and gangster rap. If you want specifics, though... I've been a HUGE twenty one pilots fan for 9 years (I have more merch, stickers and other random shit of theirs than I care to admit haha) but I'm not biased. I also love other artists like Amber Run, Purity Ring, Phantogram, Daughter, Lorde, OneRepublic, Vanessa Carlton, Sleeping At Last... plus tons of other artists that I like or at least enjoy a certain song by them. I have about ten million albums I need to sit down and listen to lol.

I really love animals, especially cats. I have three and they're little demons but I love them to death. I always thought it might be cool to have a dog one day? They're so sweet and loyal to boot. I also like ferrets, bunnies and snakes!
My main love languages are words of affirmation, quality time and gift giving/receiving. But, to be honest, there are elements of each language that I enjoy in one way or another.
I don't smoke and I drink every so often. I've tried weed before but the smoke hurt my lungs. THC edibles, like Delta 8, tend to make me feel really paranoid when I'm high. So I just stay away from all that stuff lol though I don't mind if others use it. Otherwise, I'm vaccinated, clean and disease free.

I'm looking for a guy between the ages of 21-30. I'm willing to be a LITTLE flexible with the higher number, but I'm not looking for anyone younger than 21, sorry.
Please be single, emotionally available and drama-free with no kids. I won't interact with anyone that's already in a relationship or married (yes, even if you're separated or in a dead bedroom, you are STILL married) and I'm especially not interested in any poly/ENM stuff.

Being clingy is totally fine... within reason of course. Randomly messaging me "Hey babe, I miss you so much 🥹" is pretty damn endearing. Spamming me with 50 messages, however, is not.
● WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR ●
I don't want to force a connection, I want things to develop organically, but there has to be a considerable amount of effort put in by both people. You know?
To me, communication is essential to starting and maintaining a relationship. It's important to me that you're an active listener; what I mean by that is making an effort to listen to what I have to say and acknowledge/respond to it accordingly.
If I tell you my thoughts on a matter or ask you a question or give you a compliment or tell you something about myself, please respond to it. Nothing drives me up the wall faster than my thoughts or opinions being disregarded. If I get the feeling that what I say isn't important to you, I'll lose all interest. I can tell pretty quickly if someone is actually interested in me. Like I said before, I notice everything lol.
I mentioned earlier how one of my love languages is words of affirmation. One of the ways I enjoy that is through sincere and frequent compliments. I'm not looking for you to worship the ground I walk on, but being told "You're so beautiful" or "When you do xyz, that makes me happy" is extremely fulfilling and makes me feel appreciated. It's incredibly frustrating to, for example, send a picture of myself and get a lukewarm response in return. ("Cute" "You look nice" "Pretty") Refer to the last two sentences in the previous paragraph.
I've never been in love before. I've thought and researched a lot about it (since I always want to be realistic when I write romance) but it hasn't happened to me yet. Sure, I've had the few odd crushes over the years, but nothing ever came of them. So I'd like to experience that, and most importantly, mean it with all my heart when I say "I love you" for the first time.
Affection is important to me. Holding hands, hugging, kissing, cuddling... all the cute shit that couples do. I want you to touch me, not in a pervy way, but in a "I want to get to know everything about your body" way. I want to stroke your hair and hold you close and listen to your heartbeat... just to name a few.
I understand it's not easy to just up and move somewhere, so I'm okay with a long distance relationship with regular visits. I'll try to be as flexible as possible, but ultimately, I'd like you to move here (or somewhere nearby) permanently so we can close the distance for good.

As I mentioned, I'm not looking for you to kiss my ass. I'd love for you to take the lead on most things men prefer to make decisions on (with my input, of course). Introduction

So there’s this wildly neurodivergent thing I do with the music of several of my favourite artists: I take their entire discography (I collect as much of their material as I can on principle) and arrange it into a series of customised albums that all have the same number of tracks and have seamless transitions between all tracks.
My collection for The Dear Hunter (and TREOS) consists of 17 albums with 16 tracks each. It includes two albums for The Receiving End of Sirens – the first because it is a Casey Crescenzo album, and the second for the sake of completeness (and because it’s also good) – the latter, though having been released after Act I in reality, is placed before Act I in this collection as to separate it from the post-TREOS Dear Hunter albums.
Non-album tracks were placed on albums kind of chronologically, but mostly based on where they seemed to fit best (while still preserving 16-tracks per album). A small handful of tracks, particularly in the Acts, were split in two to get the right track-counts on the albums (as not to have to mix non-Acts tracks into the story). I preserved 99% of the very many fantastic seamless transitions already on the albums – existing transitions were only broken when absolutely necessary to make the arrangements work. In some places, I created seamless transitions between albums as well: Act I into Act II into Act III; the three The Color Spectrum albums (see below) into each other; and Act IV into Act V into The Fox & the Hunt.
The arrangements of tracks in these albums are subject to change as more material becomes available.

I recently booted into OFW on my modded OLED switch to transfer some data from my other Switch. I got prompted to update and I didn't realize it hadn't updated to 16.0.1 yet (my CFW is on 16.0.1) so I let it update via normal Nintendo update process.
When it said it was done and will reboot, it never quite got there. I let it sit for about 5 minutes and it never booted back. So I tried to power it off and then turn it back on; the LED briefly went purple, green and then has been pulsing green ever since. It briefly showed the Nintendo logo and then just a black screen. Won't boot into hekate.
I've updated my OFW to 16.0 from 15.0.1 before on the modded Switch so I'm a little lost on how to proceed.
Looked around and per the LED breakdown on the hwfly github page, it's stuck at "Waiting for input from hwfly-toolbox". What can I do to get past this? This is the first time I've encountered this so I'm a bit lost. Any help is appreciated!

Had the XM2we since the first batch at the end of January. Works absolutely fine and put tiger ice feet for the XM1 RGB on it for a little less static friction. I've found it to be a little large for my hands so want to swap to a smaller mouse, hence selling.
It's had very light use since I got it, not much time to game these days, the feet still look and feel absolutely fine. There's a small squeek on the RMB rarely at some specific angles, but I think that's fairly standard on the XM2we. No rattle or other QC issues that I can see or feel, just a chonky butt for my smol hand.
Looking for a newer batch chalky black Atlantis Mini or £80 + shipping costs (which shouldn't be high). It's in near mint condition with (better) aftermarket feet.
I live in West London if you really want to come and pick it up ASAP too.
