Hi! Pretty much the title! I live in a small area and the closest store is a Joanns for arts and crafts, but it’s about 25 minutes away. I don’t have a full setup yet. My FIL is working on making a simple loom for me. I just wanted to get a head start on looking at yarn/material. Is it only yarn that can be used? I plan on making sort of patterns for using as “ribbons” in my hair.

All the hard-works for extra 4-photos adding to your game's album permenantly (or just see it here on Tumblr ._.)" event home-page. Spinoff ending date 15 Apr. Early-birds rewards ain't worth to care. This is a rerun. I posted in the regular Winnipeg sub but I thought I'd repost here.
A friend and I went on a "bakery crawl" today instead of a pub crawl! Though I'd been to a couple of the bakeries before, I tried something different this go around.
Sugar & Salt - A small in-store selection but everything looked great and the store smelled amaaazzzing. Purchased theor brownie, mini-egg cookie sandwich (really nice flavours), and dark chocolate/skor covered pretzel.
Lilac Bakery - Anything I ever had here has been great. Got a 6 pk variety of cupcakes. The red velvet was nice, not too sweet, not bland. My kid devoured the chocolate cupcake. I tried the icing and it was perfect chocolatey goodness.
La Belle Baguette - Again, I'd been to the Ness location (which now houses Butter Tart Lady, another nice bakery) and anything I've had has been great. Today I opted for everything garlic cream cheese croissants (I'm pretty sure thats what they were) and a plain for the kid.
Frenchway Cafe - went for lunch, the eggs benny 10/10. Also purchased a mini-egg brownie and lemon merengue tart.
Also hit up Mordens for some Easter treats. Their gummies and jelly beans were a super good deal.
I would be lying if I said this wasn't a pricey outing, but my friend and I had a great time, each shop smelled amazing, and you could do it cheaper by just purchasing one treat each stop (I bought to share with the fam jam). Looking forward to trying more stops next time. And no, I haven't tried everything yet... ha!

This Keto Chocolate Fudge Haystacks recipe was born of my desperate desire for something sweet and chocolatey RIGHT NOW, coupled with my being too lazy and impatient to want to actually bake something - or wait for said something to be ready to eat. This pretty much describes my low carb life you can relate, then this is your low carb cookie recipe my friends. #lazyketochocolateloversunite The shredded coconut in these Keto Chocolate Fudge Haystacks makes them chewy and cookie-like, and the nuts add a pleasant crunch and earthy flavor. I’ve been stalking reddit and the internet for months but figured I would make a post because I am DESPERATE.
Since last April (about a month after I got with my boyfriend) I have had Yeast, BV, and just back and forth between those every month. I had never had issues like this before we met, even though I had had sex with two guys before. I have taken at least 7 or 8 doses of diflucan, i’ve tried metronidazole a few times, terconazole suppositories a few times, and nystatin-triam cream a few times. In October I was told that I tested positive for ureaplasma, so I took doxycycline and my bf took an antibiotic. All of these issues have also given me vaginal eczema. I am on my millionth yeast infection/BV Combo and I am truly at my wits end. My gyno said that if this round (BV suppository, terconazole, and nystatin cream) doesn’t work, then she may put me on a 16 week course of diflucan.
I don’t drink alcohol, I use dove sensitive skin body wash, I wear cotton underwear, and we have both tested negative for STDs. I have been trying to cut back on sugar, and my A1C was tested a few months ago and I am not diabetic or pre-diabetic. It wasn’t until a few days ago that my gyno told me that men can also get yeast infections, so my boyfriend made an appointment with a urologist soon, even though he has no symptoms. Any time we have sex, he washes his hands with dove body wash, brushes his teeth before oral. We always use lube and condoms that don’t have glycerin or any of those other ingredients you’re supposed to avoid. He is circumcised, showers every day, switches his toothbrush twice a year, does all the things you’re supposed to do. He stopped vaping nicotine and weed months ago because we thought that might be it, but I guess not. He is going to ask the doctor to maybe test for oral thrush, even though he has no symptoms. We just don’t know what to do.
Every single time we have sex, the infections come back. I have no idea what is causing it, but I just cannot deal with this anymore. It is ruining my every day, it is so expensive, we have no sex life, and I have no sex drive anymore. It’s also making me so irritable and I feel like I am going crazy. I take effexor, magnesium, iron, and probiotics. I am currently washing my laundry in hot water and vinegar, and my gyno told me to get some new undies and toss the ones i’ve been wearing.
I feel like this is going to go on forever and my boyfriend and i will never have a normal relationship. I have general anxiety and OCD and this whole situation is making them both so much worse, when though I am on meds and go to therapy. The only thing I haven’t tried is boric acid because I’m scared it’ll make it worse. Has anyone been in a situation like this and actually found a way out?? Advice or even just encouragement is needed. I truly feel like nobody understands how horrible this is.

Ugh. I started a hat, decided that the yarn I chose wasn’t working (it was too dark to show the pattern), frogged it, started over, miscounted my stitches in the cast on (which I discovered after 12 rows of 1X1 rib stitch!), frogged again, and said that if I had to frog one more time, this hat isn’t happening.
So I cast on again and drop about 20 stitches after casting on while setting up my magic loop. It’s a sign from the universe. I’ve made plenty of hats before and more than a few mistakes, but not while casting on!

So my grandparents have been making a "pickled" onion/hot pepper concoction their entire lives, I love it, my family loves it, everyone loves it. They're in their 90's now but I continue doing this myself because I love putting it on everything I eat that's not ice cream.
The process is simple: Chop onions + Hot peppers > And put them in a jar with either some lime juice or white vinegar or a mix of both. That's it. I've put some salt at times and some sugar at times but thats just me messing around, cant say I notice it make a huge difference. But I have no idea the science or safety of this.... So I have a few questions:

- Is this safe? Is this considered pickling? What are the dangers or what am I missing out on by not heating up the vinegawater solution I see on most pickling recipes? I've eaten this stuff out of my fridge for 2-3 months with no issues and i'll usually just make a new batch if there's any left at that point.

I don't know what goes through people's minds these days, but it seems that common sence isn't a thing anymore. As an employee, We Know, that you know, how a drive thru works. Your excuses, mean nothing and are usually lies. It doesn't matter how old or young you are, out of state or country, or even a language barrier, you know how it works and how you're supposed to order.
People who purposly drive past the menu, have to have everything read to them as if they've forgotten how to read, attempt separate orders, attempt to add at the window, are all told the same thing at my place of work.
"We don't take orders at the window, you'll have to drive back around and order like everyone else." This INCLUDES online orders. You either say what you're here for or you'll be sitting at the window for a while.
If you pull up and say nothing after we greet you, we also stay silent. You knowing that you're pulling in, you should already have your window down or door open if it doesn't work. You'll also be told to drive back around.
"You'll have to come inside for separate orders. We don't do it in drive thru." No, we don't care if nobody is behind you.
"I can't add anything at the window, our system automatically for some reason will reduce your order to 0.00 and I'll have to go all the way to the other register to re input it." I'm not going to be inconvenienced just because you couldn't order everything.
Its ridiculous the amount of people who believe your coffee automatically comes with cream and sugar, it doesn't. You have to order it that way, or it comes black. I mean, you know how you would drink it at home? Why wouldn't you order it that way???
Say you come through or inside and instead of stating you would like a dozen donuts, you just start naming off ones you want. You'll be charged individually which adds a couple dollars to the price instead of pressing the dozen button. Why not? I wasn't hired to hold your hand through your own order, not to read the menu for you. The description says "Take and assemble orders" not "read to the customer,order for the customer,etc. People also believe it's against the law to deny bathrooms. Well, in my state, it's not. Bathrooms are required for employees and do not have to be public. Its not just the addicts, it's for those of you who apparently don't know how to use one. If i go into the bathroom after you, and there's pee everywhere except in the toilet, I'm coming out of there whether your sitting by yourself or with a group and telling you "You're not allowed in there anymore". You should be embarrassed, more people should be called out for bad behavior and bad habits so that they stop getting away with it.
