Mcgriddle calories
why can't I say no
2023.03.06 20:03 OfficerLollipop why can't I say no
Yesterday morning, I was with my mom, and I was feeling full from my breakfast of one boiled egg and an apple.
She offered me a kombucha tea, which had 50 calories (I don't drink my calories unless there's fiber in the drink or if its medicinal). I tried to reason with her, but it was no use. I was forced to take a sip, and she said, "You're making a face," because I didn't want it. Later, she pulled into mcdonalds and got me half a mcgriddle and a coffee with 5 creams. I would have wanted to scream, "No, I want one of those plain black!" But I didn't. She also offered me a 160-calorie muffin on the side.
Looking back, I considered that my lunch. But still, why am I such a doormat?

2022.07.28 17:08 About7fish A lighter night shift rant: only breakfast is available when we leave.
Day shift has their pick of the litter when they leave work. If you can physically get there or a third party can physically get to you for a shitzillion dollars in delivery fees, you can eat it. Italian, Chinese, Indian, even MickeyDs if that's what strikes your fancy. After a long day's effort you're rewarded with whatever your stomach might desire.
Ain't shit for night shift. Hungry on your way home? Hope you like biscuits, one of three meats, and powdered eggs. They're somehow the exact same no matter where you get them. Bacon is bacon, sausage is sausage, etc. There's no discernible differences in flavor, texture, or the dump that will follow a couple hours later. Oh sure, you can church it up every now and again by having grits instead of hash browns - a Sophie's Choice between an empty carb flavored with ketchup or an empty carb flavored with what does not quite successfully pass as butter from those little packets they give you - but that's about it.
I've never understood it. What's the deal with breakfast food? Why do we pigeonhole ourselves into the same handful of options over and over again? I can understand it from the perspective of a breakfast as fuel kind of person who eats a portion of oatmeal with a piece of fruit to stay just full enough not to be hangry by lunch time. I get that. But if we're eating for taste then why have we decided that these handful of options are the definitive ones? What committee decided that our options should be so limited?
Let's revisit that earlier namedrop, McDonalds. Compare a big mac to a sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle. For the same amount of calories as the mcgriddle, the big mac gives you 3 fewer grams of fat (including 2 grams fewer of saturated fat), another gram of fiber, 6 fewer grams of sugar, another 1.5mg of iron, 155 fewer milligrams of cholesterol, another 110mg of potassium, and 280 fewer milligrams of sodium. The most important meal of the day indeed.
So if we're not doing this for taste and we're not doing this for health, just what the hell are we doing? Why can't a man roll out of report and get himself a bucket of chicken? People talk all the time about the downsides of night shift. The detriment to physical and mental health, the death of social life, the difficulty of accomplishing errands and maintenance in the world of the daywalker, these are all well known. But this final injustice, this culinary catastrophe, this galling gustatory grievance, I cannot abide.
I think it goes without saying that I'm not actually that passionate about the subject, but c'mon, man. I just want to have my breakfast spaghetti in peace.

2022.04.22 18:31 4UTOMAT I wake up every morning craving the greasiest/most disgusting fast food ever.
Even though I have plenty of food at home, I have this massive compulsion to order a ton of fried crap on UberEats. Sometimes I wont even finish it, I’ll have a few bites and just be disgusted. And because it’s McDonalds it tastes awful after an hour of sitting outside.
I’m wasting money and destroying my body, but I can’t understand why. I’m also wasting any progrès si make when going to the gym, which I do about 3 times a week for strength training. Typically when I do this I wont have lunch but just a snack, like some hard boiled eggs or some fruit, and then ill cook diner after. Nothing fancy, just some meat, rice and veggies.
It’s just these morning cravings that are killing me. It’s like I’m not able to get out of bed unless I know my two sausage mcgriddles and hash browns are on their way.
I’ve seen some things online mentioning stress and anxiety could be a factor. My sleep cycle is a bit off but im not sure how I can regulate that without using other substances.
Should I try eating a larger dinner? I typically eat until im full, not really counting calories or portion sizes.

2022.04.07 02:39 DarthGrt7 Been clean since the Mar 24th started taking fiber powder and charcoal
M25 230lb 5' 11" I have a job offer on the table and a drug test stands in the way been using D9 vape carts for awhile, I've had recent breaks though while on work trips. I have been able to dilute enough to pass home tests, but that stuff was basically water. I've always been a consistent water drinker and have since bumped my water intake, peeing like crazy. Started St John's Wort, One a day vitamin supp, B vitamin complex, creatine pills, charcoal, and fiber at the beginning of the week been calorie restricting like crazy, roughly 1k a day. I go on walks but that's about it. Test may have to be next week though they want me to start the week of the 25th. Gonna see when I have to get the test done.
Super anxious about this makes me wish I had quit sooner. I have a couple detoxify readycleans in my fridge and am planning on carbing up a couple days prior, continuing my fiber powder and charcoal all the way up to the day of the test.
Day of the test the plan is to carb up with some Mcgriddles hashbrowns, a soda sometime and other junk. Down the 2 Detoxifys, fiber and charcoal and have some water a few hours before the test and home testing a couple times before going.
Any advice?

2022.01.25 00:16 ila2626 Lower Calorie McGriddle
2021.12.21 11:21 MistressCutie420 Can't sleep and not eat and not engage in [insert vice here]
It seems in order for me to create enough of a calorie debt to lose weight I have to sacrifice my ability to sleep on that given night. In order to not binge late at night, I have to just... distract myself...then I can't sleep.
I'm sure my bipolar is a big factor in this. I distract myself by "binging" on specific bad foods or other vices, BFRBs or trying to get myself sucked into organizeing my hoarded house, reddit, just trying to get sucked into anything that will hold my focus so I can stop fantasizing about that mcgriddle.
I just can't seem to keep my act together by the end of the day bc I can't sleep and then it gets so late that McDonald's is serving breakfast. Like ok, I can get the "not binging" plate up n spinning, but then I try to get the "sleep enough to be able to drive safely the next day" plate up n spinning and I can just barely get it going but then the "shower regular" and "brush ur teeth regularly" plates go down and im like "fuck, I barely even got a chance to get the 'stop picking ur cuts open to the point that its gonna cause health issues soon' plate started!
Then other times, ill crash n binge/sleep the majority of the day. (That actually how I spent Friday through Sunday) But I weight myself every day and if I backslide more then a certain amount i snap back into it, have one really healthy productive day where I eat very little.... then find it impossible to sleep.... then it's time for the fast food places to start serving all those special breakfasts u can only get at a certain hr.
Anyone here having a similar issue who can relate? Offer advice/companionship/support? Maybe some fellow dieters out there that also struggle w bipolamental health issues? Thanks for listening.

2021.02.06 01:28 TPSavage I Just Saw a Craigslist Ad for Myself
I thought it was a prank at first, just a belated April fools joke from one of my buddies. I never thought for a second that it could have spiraled into the horrifying mess I've found myself in.
The thick stone ceiling above me has made calling the cops impossible but I think I have just enough signal to get this out to the internet, my note in a bottle if you will.
There are no clocks here, but as far as I can tell, this all started a few hours ago.
I sat hunched over my computer desk, squinting at the harsh blue light of my monitor. I was going through my nightly ritual of scanning through craigslist for any good deals.
I was moments away from powering the computer down and giving my tired brain a break when I saw it. The image was so surreal, it took me a moment to figure out what I was looking at.
There, nestled between a vintage typewriter and a dusty old sofa, was a picture of me.
The title was my full name and the price was listed at $1500.
I mentally went through all of my friends and family, trying to figure out who would do something like this, but came up empty-handed.
I saw there were more pictures and went to scroll through them but hesitated. I was afraid that I'd be met with fuzzy polaroids of me taken from behind bushes and through windows.
However, as I scrolled through the images, I realized I recognized each one. I'd taken them.
They were all from my Facebook feed. A selfie I'd taken with some friends at a bar. A picture of me at the beach with my girlfriend.
I felt my heart rate begin to quicken. My Facebook was set to private and I never friended anyone I didn't know. How had these pictures gotten onto the internet?
I clicked the listing and began anxiously reading the description.
Product is a 26-year-old caucasian male. It is 237 pounds and 5' 8''. It consumes approximately 2,200 calories per day.
I raised an eyebrow at that last line. What would anyone want with that information?
It went on to describe everything I'd eaten for the past 2 weeks in meticulous detail. Everything from the McGriddle I'd had on my way to work, to the Snickers I'd munched on today after dinner.
They even knew about my ADD medication.
I nervously glanced around my house, suddenly feeling naked and vulnerable. Where were they getting this information? How long had they been keeping tabs on me?
Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse I saw a short message at the end of the post that made my skin crawl.
Product is unathletic and should be easily collected by 2-3 people. Bringing weapons are suggested but not needed.
Collected? Any hope of this being a joke was beginning to evaporate.
How many people had seen the listing by now? What kinds of people go searching for a listing like this at all?
Then I had a thought that made me bring a hand to my mouth.
Did this page have my address listed? It seemed terrifyingly possible. The listing had seemingly every other detail about me, why not that?
My eyes scanned the web page until I found a message that explained everything.
Address for $1500 dollars. Email me if interested.
It made a sick sort of sense. They'd found a way to
monetize their stalking. Why let such great talent go to waste, right?
I wondered how many other people he'd done this to? How many home invasions and robberies and abductions he'd helped facilitate just for a few thousand bucks.
I immediately flagged the post, hoping to have it taken down. However, I quickly realized it would take hours, maybe even days for the moderators at craigslist to get to it. I didn't have that time to spare.
My fingers flew across the keyboard, searching Google for some way to get ahold of the people at Craigslist, but in the end, all I could find was a generic contact form.
Getting desperate, I opened my email to try one last gambit. I plugged in the seller's address, a random string of numbers and letters, and typed out a desperate plea to take down the listing, offering 5 times the original price.
Waiting for a response was torture. I passed the time by running around my house, locking all of the doors and windows. I also turned out all of the lights to make it look like no one was home.
I knew realistically, the odds of some psycho seeing the post was slim. But the internet was a big place and I didn't want to take any chances.
I was so on edge that by the time I heard the ding of the email notification, my heart practically jumped out of my chest.
I regret to inform you that the information has already been purchased.
I buried my head in my hands. I had been too late.
How long ago had it been bought? 10 minutes ago? An hour? A day? My line of thought was broken when the crackle of wheels on gravel brought my attention to the window. I pulled the curtains aside and peered out into the night, careful to reveal as little of myself as possible.
A black SUV was pulling into my driveway, its occupants hidden behind a dark window. I told myself everything was fine; That they were just doing a 3 point turn and would be gone any minute.
However, instead of driving away, the doors popped open in unison. Two figures emerged from the car, dressed head to toe in black.
I wanted to turn and run but fear had paralyzed me. I watched helplessly as the men marched up to the front door and knocked loudly. I realized then that their plan must have been to wait for me to answer the door and drag me into their car, but I knew better.
I began calling 911, cursing myself for not doing it sooner. The door was heavy oak and would take them at least a minute or two to kick down.
That's when I heard it. There was a strange beeping sound coming from the other side of the door. After racking my brain for a few moments I figured out what it was.
It was the beeping of my door's keypad.
They couldn't possibly know the code, could they? Then it dawned on me.
The creep who'd posted the listing knew everything about me. Of course, they knew the passcode.
My blood ran cold and I dashed away from the door, looking for a place to hide.
Click. The door unlocked. I ducked behind a corner into the kitchen just as it began to slowly creak open.
The backdoor was at the other side of the kitchen and I began creeping toward it, grateful I'd turned the lights out earlier.
The two men cautiously stepped into the living room, talking in hushed voices about where I might be. I had almost made it to the backdoor when I bumped into the kitchen table. I cursed myself for not seeing it.
Their whispers immediately stopped and they began marching toward me, forcing me to improvise a hiding place.
I slipped into my kitchen's pantry and shut the door just as the light clicked on. The men, apparently no longer concerned with stealth, began stomping around the kitchen, looking for me.
I squeezed my eyes shut and prayed they didn't look inside, knowing I'd be completely helpless if they did. I bit down on my knuckles and time seemed to stretch out forever.
But they eventually left, going deeper into the house to search for me. I let out a sigh of relief.
Buzzzz. My phone was ringing in my pocket. I took it out and it was my girlfriend, Lexi.
My eyes widened.
Lexi. She'd be home any minute. What if the men decided to take
her instead.
I answered the call.
"Hey you," she said.
"Lexi, don't come to the house. It's not safe!"
"Oh my God, where are you?" she asked, fear creeping into her voice.
"I'm hiding in the pantry. I think I'm safe for now but-"
The line went dead. I felt my heart sink. Had they gotten to her already? Had I not warned her in time?
Then I heard something strange vibrating noise in the room over. One of the men's phone was ringing. He answered it and listened a moment.
His voice was raspy and muffled. "He's where?"
Another pause. Then footsteps, thundering straight toward me. My mind raced momentarily, and then it hit me.
The one who had posted the listing hadn't been stalking me, they had been
living with me.
Lexi was the one who'd posted it.
And she'd just told them exactly where I was. I burst out of the pantry and made a break for the door, just as the two men rounded the corner behind me.
I wanted to look back but fought the urge. If I looked back I'd get nervous and if I got nervous I'd stumble and if I stumbled they'd drag me into their car and do God knows what.
I flung open the backdoor and ran into the cool damp air. However, before I could make a break for it, one of them caught me by the hood, snapping my neck back.
The fabric tightened around my throat like a snake, making it hard to breathe. I blindly threw an elbow behind me and it connected with his ribs.
The man cried out in pain and I felt his grip loosen by just a fraction. A fraction was all I needed.
I tucked in my chin, drew in my arms, and wriggled out of the hoodie, falling to the wet earth on hands and knees. I made a mad dash for the treeline.
As I ran I heard angry shouts from behind me.
"Just shoot!"
"The damn thing is jammed!"
"Oh give me that!"
A loud
pop rang out in the night and something whizzed past my ear. I wondered what they'd shot at me. The sound was too quiet to be a gun.
A quick glance behind me revealed one of the men was holding what looked like a small, lightweight sniper rifle. It was green with a strange white chamber at the bottom.
What the hell is that thing? The man shoved something inside, clicked it back, and took aim.
Pop. Fear shot through me like a bolt of electricity. I jerked my body out of the way just in time for something to fly past me and bury itself in a nearby tree. It was a dart.
They were shooting at me with a tranquilizer gun; Like I was a wild animal. The treeline was about 40 feet away now. My lungs felt like they were full of bees but I kept running anyway, knowing if I slowed even a fraction they'd catch me.
I did my best to avoid the darts, diving out of the way whenever I heard one of those sickening
pops, but eventually, my luck ran out. Just as I reached the treeline, ready to disappear behind the dense foliage, I felt a red hot sting in my back.
Exhaustion began flooding my body, making my movements slow and sluggish. The world spun around me and soon, I found myself on the forest floor.
My memories of what happened next are jagged and frayed: the click of a trunk, the jangle of chains.
When I finally came to my senses I found myself on a damp, concrete floor, bathed in darkness, shivering from the biting cold. The only noise breaking the eery silence were the heavy thuds of footsteps over my head.
They left me my phone, maybe to keep me from going crazy, maybe to taunt me. To ensure I can't ask for help, they've somehow blocked all posting or messaging features. At least, almost all of them.
NoSleep is the only place that I can post. At first, I thought they'd made a mistake. I thought maybe this subreddit had just slipped past them. But now I'm starting to realize it's because they think no one will believe me.
But that can't be true. At least
one of you
has to believe me...right?

pops, but eventually, my luck ran out.
At least, almost all of them.
nosleep is the only place they let me post. At first, I thought that was a mistake but now I realize it's because they think no one will believe me.
But that can't be true. At least
one of you has to believe me...right?

Hear me out.
Does it seem like an acceptable substitute for a McGriddle Craving if I use two sweet egos (chocolate chip, strawberry or blueberry) and 4 butterball turkey bacon slice to make a sandwich ?
300 calories 305 if you add a little sugar free syrup for maple flavor.

2019.08.09 21:13 SkyPuppy561 Someone at McDonald’s put the McGriddle pancake bread or whatever around my Egg McMuffin instead of an English Muffin. Now my calorie count for breakfast is in disarray so I am assuming it is 450 (listed calories for McGriddle) instead of 300 (listed calories McMuffin).

2019.01.31 07:00 pdilme92 Keto McGriddle Breakfast Sandwiches/Pancakes
This is not my recipe (Source at bottom) however I feel like I need to share it as it has transformed breakfast on the go for me!
I make these ahead of time & I put them in the refrigerator. I microwave 2 of them for 15 seconds wrapped in a wet paper towel and some Kerrygold in between them.
I usually make a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I precook my bacon and just heat it up in the morning to save time and then just cook my (2) eggs fresh. My wife will put cream cheese on them and some form of meat (sausage, smoked salmon, etc.) and she loves it too. While the recipe says "pancakes/McGriddle" they only have a slight sweetness to them... defiantly a pancake consistency but not as sweet as a pancake.
We love this recipe because it is (relatively) low calorie, decent amount of fat, and very low carb for what it is!
Recipe Per 4 pancakes/ 2 sandwiches or McGriddles
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp sugar free maple syrup
- pinch of salt
- cooking spray
Cooking instructions:
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Mix all of the ingredients for the pancakes into a small bowl. Spray the skillet with cooking spray and spoon the batter into 4 round pancakes in the skillet. Let the pancakes cook until bubbles start to form in the batter around the side. Flip and continue to cook on the other side until the center on the pancake springs back when lightly touched.

2018.12.23 03:04 Fitchickinflorida Christmas offer Part 2-TIPS, TRICKS AND THOUGHTS from fit friend
First I want to wish everyone and their famiies a Happy Holidays. I would also like to thank everyone who has responded to the previous thread or messaged me in private. If I haven't responded yet I will please be patient with me I didn't expect such a huge outpouring of love from the community.. Also thanks to the wonderful person who gave the reddit gold!
So on with the tips, tricks and thoughts.
BLAME- I see this alot. Numerous posts regarding coworkers who brought in food, spouses, parents, the random person on the street. It seems to always be someone else's fault for the extra food, the reason you didn't go to the gym. I would like to say it's no one else fault but your own. You can take that as a negative or you can use that knowledge and cause massive change in your life. Think of this next time you think its someone's fault.. There is some food your spouse eats that you don't and nothing will make you eat that food, there is a cookie or donut you just don't like and no matter how much a coworker pushes you won't eat it. So the things you do indulge it's because you want to not because a parent, spouse, coworker or random stranger offered it to you. BLAME OF PARENTS - if your parents fed you bad food, you blamed them for not teaching you how to eat well, If the parents held back treats you blamed them for not exposing you to things so you wouldnt binge later, No matter what they do or we do as parents we will get blamed. If you are older than 2 and even 2 years olds throw away things they DON'T LIKE then your eating is not your parents fault. IT IS YOUR'S!! They may have set the framework but you are the one still following it.
DEMONS- This is a big one- The journey to reform myself from overweight and I can't run to save my life to eating well, fit has thought me that my biggest fight is with myself! Doesn't matter what the coworker said, my mom who told me I was too skinny I should stop now, the random stranger in the supermarket who commented on my arms, the guy who asked me if I was born male because muscles, the co worker who brought all the food that I'm weak in the knees and can't pass up. The sign from Mcdonalds just luring me to buy the egg mcgriddle. The fight is inside myself, it's my own demons making me binge eat when my boss says something to me- It could be a compliment or a critisim the result was all the same- the need to stuff myself with food or not go work out. All the food scales and workout programs in the world will not help until you start facing your own demons in the mirror and working on them slowly.
GADGETS- Despite what instagram, facebook and commericals tell you- You don't need the watch that calculates heart rate and the lululemons and the $150 running shoe and the dishes with perfect portion or even a food scale to start to lose weight or get fit.. ALL DIETS WORK, ALL FITNESS PROGRAMS WORK.. EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE OF THEM.. Don't believe me- pick one, don't change it. Do it for a year no variation and ta dah you've lost weight and gotten fitter.. They all do the same basic things- restrict food doesn't matter if it's paleo or keto or IF - they all restrict food which causes weight loss and all workout programs cause movement. If you research you will find tons of people who have used every single method to lose weight or get fit.. they all have one thing in common they didn't stop using it. A torn teeshirt and shoes with holes running around the block work just as well as the $150 shoe - barefoot even works. Throwing away some food off your plate or dropping the first bite in the trash, throwing away left overs works just as well as any diet.
MARATHON- This journey is a marathon it is not a sprint! That doens't matter if you are 10 years into the journey or the first day.. BE THE TORTOISE NOT THE HARE! Doesn't matter if people are judging you for only running to your car- I remember my coworker laughing the first time I said I ran from my house to my car, I didn't hear much laughter when that grew to a mile and then 8 miles... My coworker is stil not running. Everyone wants to hurry up so the journey and the pain can be over but there is value in the tortoise approach- the value is in the TIME.
Losing 100lbs in 5 months might be amazing but losing it in 3 years helps you to go thru alot of scenerios - it helps you to deal with alot of mental drama, it helps you to learn how to be better next christmas, it helps you to anticipate the coworker who pushed food in your face every day for 2 years. TIME will help you run in the cold, in the sun, in the heat, in the rain. It will help you go to the gym when its cold, dark and when it's nice and sunny.. Time will help you fight the brain saying its cold - well we've run in the cold many times before so lets get our shoes and get going. There is value in the slow journey. USE IT.
FEAR- It seems most new people are always forward projection how they will stick to the diet. How they will eat well for 1 year and the results will be amazing.. I am the opposite-I'M SCARED OF MYSELF BECAUSE I KNOW MYSELF. I know if I let myself I will not go run so I keep a constant tab on myself to make sure I'm doing what I need to do . I think fear is good - I know that if I feel weak I might want to go eat a cookies which will make me sick and derail my progress. So I don't trust myself to make good decisions when I'm weak.
REGRESSION- You will regress, you will regress hard, expect it, plan for it and KEEP MOVING FORWARD. Emotions are strong and when you start to lose weight that emotion will make you run a marathon with 3 weeks running practice, it will make you eat well and stick to the diet but with all things the brain realizes at some point THIS IS WORK AND IT'S HARD AND IT SUCKS! You will go from running a mile in record time to barely being able to run 30 seconds again.. You will go fromn sticking to your diet to barely being able to make it one day without eating badly.. It is fine- it is part of the process- do not become depressed and give up.. Do not think I used to do so well but now I suck at this.. JUST KEEP MOVING FORWARD.. If you could run a mile last week but now you can only run 30 second say no problem- I will be back out here running my 30 seconds tomorrow and the next day till I build back up to a mile.. If you ate well for 3 months but now you can't go a meal without eating badly say okay.. I will be back next meal and the one after that until I am eating well again.. Get used to the failure- get used to taking tiny steps when in the begining you took huge leaps.. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
ANTICIPATE YOURSELF - Before you binge eat, before you miss the workout, before you have 20 days straight of cheat meals you feel it coming. You will start to mentally talk to yourself hours before you decide not to go work out.. Listen next time how your brain will tell you that you deserve a cheat meal 3 hours before lunch and will keep telling you all the way to lunch. It will tell you how its cold the night before a run, it will tell you how gym people are judging you before you decide to not go today.. ANTICIPATE YOURSELF AND TAKE ACTION.. if you find that you run after work- put our your clothes before work, get home get dressed immediate leave no room for your mind to sabotage. Do you find that you don't meal prep then eat mcdonalds- Stop the rerun of friends and go make the food, put it beside your purse so you pick it up on the way to the car. Do you drive by starbucks and feel the need for a calorie filled drink- look up a new route and decide to drive diffrently and save the calories tomorrow. You are predictable- YOU HAVE DONE THE SAME ACTIONS REPEATEDLY.. USE THE INFORMATION TO YOUR ADVANTAGE TO GET THE RESULTS YOU WANT.
MY FINAL THOUGHTS- life isn't fair, you will be alone in the journey, it will suck, it will take a long time if you are overweight, if you are regular weight maintaince is forever, if you are fit or unfit- the battle will never be over. No one will care, no one will accomodate you or understand. Noone will stop living or eating badly because you have decided to change. You will get teased, you will be mocked for being "HEALTHY", you will be sabotaged, you will lose friends, you will fail alot. You will have to navigate a world praying for you to fail with candy and chips at the checkout isle and piles of food in the lunchroom. The spouse, coworker, family, friends will all keep eating badly, they will all keep offering you the foods you are struggling so hard to stop eating. They will not come to workout with you despite the promises and they will be the first telling you to stop going after the one thing you want most. You will spend alot of time thinking everyone is enjoying life but you.. You will think some people have it easier like the naturally thin, athletic types (There is no such thing- we all know the jock who got fat after high school or the cheerleader who packed it on) you will spend days, nights in tears and frustration about how something as simple as EAT LESS MOVE MORE can be so hard but there is strength on the other side- it will get eaiser. YOU WILL GET STRONGER AND YOU CAN DO THIS!

2018.11.07 04:33 thamthrfcknruckus Am I wrong?
So all day on Reddit I get bombarded with these posts by McDonald's about their triple McGriddle Sizzlers which have probably 2000 calories in them who in the f*** in the right mind needs to eat something like that in the morning when going to work or just lounging around the house they're disgusting. A normal adult doesn't need that many calories in a whole day and I wonder when McDonald's wants to start contributing to the health of the nation instead of hurting people and inspiring gluttony and bring it down. I understand the need to make a profit but my God they're inspiring greed and gluttony and it disgusts me

The majority of this can probably be ignored. I am just copy and pasting my post from
fitness because I need help designing a workout routein and was sent to this sub.
Sorry about the formatting I'm on mobile.
Hey
Fitness I'm leaving for boot camp in about a month and I want my last month at home to be the most physically productive month of my life.
Basic Info Gender: Male Age: 18 Height: 6'2 Weight: 150-160
My goal is to gain weight/build muscle.
I have been enlisted for nearly a year and in the Delayed Entry Program (DEP) we have weekly workouts on Thursdays and Saturdays. Generally the workouts consist of some short running and alot of CrossFit exercises. I recently, about 3 weeks, started going to the gym consistently and haven't seen results, not that I expected to in such a short time. I have a very knowledge about lifting and weight training so I feel as if my time in the gym isn't being put to full potential. I also very recently started taking protein supplements such as powder and shakes. I downloaded an app to track my calories but I know very little about dieting and calories as well as what the right balance of protein, carbs, and fat would be.
The rules for the military testing are all events must be completed in under two minutes, (excluding the run). Pullups must be complete deadhangs and feet are not allowed to touch the floor. All other events the participant is allowed to stop as often or as long as needed but the time will continue.
My Physical Goals
Crunches: 120 Pullups: 25 Pushups: 100 Ammo Can Lift: 120 1.5 Mile: 9:00 3 Mile: 18:00
The listed information is the lowest score I have gotten recently. At one point or another I had reached the goal for crunches, pullups, and ammo can lifts just not during the same testing session. Recently I have not run a 3 Mile for a test so I don't have an accurate time for that. If it would help I can get the data for that as soon as possible.
My Current Physical Shape
Crunches: 100 Pullups: 20 Pushups: 75 Ammo Can Lifts: 100 1.5 Mile: ~10:50 3 Mile: ---
My Diet
Breakfast (5;00am) normally consists of a bowl of cereal. Generally chex mix, cherios, or something similar. A protein shake(25g) and a protein bar(20g). My "lunch" (9:00-10:00am) is either 5 mcdoanlds breakfast burritos or 2 sausage egg and cheese mcgriddles. Yes I work at a mcdoanlds. After work I take protein powder(30g) and go to the gym. My dinner changes daily, it can be anything from snacking on a can of Pringles to a steak with grean beans and salad.
How can I make myself better. I'm in need of the information I have the drive to make the changes I just don't know where to start. I would prefer to have a plan made for my daily workouts that I can stick to. I've tried making these in the past but I don't have any way of knowing they are the most effective things I could be doing. If anyone would be willing to help me create a weekly workouts routine I would be eternally grateful.
Thanks to everyone who read this far. I know it was quite a read. Any information is valuable and will be taken into consideration. I appreciate any help I can get and thanks again for reading.
