In 2016 my partner was not in a great place and applied for government housing.
These days she is doing amazing, incredibly hard and well respected worker however I digress.
Yesterday a worker from the floor came into the office (one who is incredibly trust worthy) and gave her her rental application from 2016 (the governments copy stamped and all) attached with photo copies of her license, bank cards, Medicare, phone number, etc.
It was found in the car park of a pub a few doors away from the housing office along with quite a few other peoples applications and personal details.
It seems to me that they have not disposed of or stored the private information correctly and that it somehow ended up as rubbish on the road/car park.
Not only was she furious and unsettled that ALL of her private information was just found on the ground and hour from where we live but also the fact that her needing to apply for housing is now well known amongst her coworkers. A part of her life she’s done well to distance her self from and forget about.
What to do? Call the place and say “wtf”
Call the police?
Is there even anything that can be done here without just giving the government office an opportunity to just lie or pass the buck?

Hi there I’m 19 and this is my first car. I got the car for my 18th birthday last June. I bought it from enterprise because it used to be a rental vehicle so it would be a little cheaper. So here’s the problem. My car randomly won’t start. It’s not because I leave anything on as everything in my interior is always off along with my headlights and my doors are always closed. So no issues there. I almost never use accessory mode. I work overnights so on my lunch break i do sit with the car on for about half an hour 4 days out of the week to charge my phone and warm up. My car has done this regardless of the temperature so I don’t think it’s the cold. I had orileys test my start up and alternator and battery and they said the start up and alternator are fine but that the battery was bad. I had the battery replaced and it continued to do it so back I went to orileys. Everything was normal and they said to get an actual place to check it out but I didn’t have money then. I’m getting to the point where I should be able to pay to fix it. At this point I’m thinking there’s something wrong with the relays from my ignition. My car is a push start so the first time I try to start it, it does try to start and my accessory mode does turn on. What is going on with my car and is it enterprises fault?

Two weeks ago I took a rental car on a one way trip (I flew home) I’m forgetful and didn’t want to lose the rental car keys so I attached my AirTag ring (which also unfortunately has one of my 2FA hardware keys attached as well) to the rental car keys. To make a long story a little shorter, I was in a hurry dropped the car off and completely forgot about my AirTag and TBH in the rush didn’t pay attention to the notification.
Next day it hits me what had happened so I figure I’ll enable lost mode and maybe I get lucky and I can pay someone at the rental car place to ship it back to me. The hardware key isn’t cheap nor do I want to take the time to replace it. I’m too late, the car is in Albany, NY at the Hilton. I dropped the car in Boston the day before. Rental car place evidently didn’t notice the AirTag still attached to the keys and neither did the next renter.
3 days goes by and it never moves. Day 4 it pings at a rental dealership in Ohio. I google the info call the rental car company and they insist they don’t have it. I’m like oh okay so the customer took it. Day 5 AirTag pings in Kentucky. Stays in Louisville for 4 days. Travels south over 6 days and ends up in Gainesville, FL at drum roll a rental car lot of the same company I rented the car through. I was able to finally reach them so after 2 weeks and the car being rented out to 3 different customers after me, my AirTag and Yubikey were still attached to the rental car keys.

So attending the match seems like a completely logistical option, but I had a couple questions before we commit.
Also, I will add that we do not know much about football. I do know my way around sports and would definitely be supporting your home team. I've been reading up on how the leagues work, and the chance to see a Serie A match seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity for us. If we go, we would stop by one of the team stores in Florence that weekend and pick up a couple of shirts or jerseys to wear to the match to show our support.
My first questions are, would this be frowned upon by fans and locals? Is this something we should just leave to the people who are die hard fans? Would it be a bad look to show up in your teams apparel?
Secondly, if you think we would be welcomed, how easy would it be to drive and park at the stadium?
Third, what about behavior at the stadium? Would it be OK to have drinks and cheer for the team, or should we be more subdued and just watch the match?

Buyer buys refundable same day round trip plane ticket for me to them, this acts as a deposit essentially
Can back out up to 24 hours in advance with no money loss
I get my own rental cauber to & from airport(my risk/cost at that point) and we meet at buyers bank for wire transfer only (no interest in either of us walking around with 5 figures in cash)
Plenty of time to physically inspect at bank, no rush on my end
If buyer backs out at bank, that's fine, buyer is just out plane ticket cost
Plane ticket cost is removed from final wire amount

Okay Looking for advice because my husband and I genuinely do not know what to do. We have a trip planned in August with my parents to South Carolina. It's been kind of a tradition for my parents and I to go away for a week specifically to South Carolina for at least 15 years. Me and my parents, plus whoever i wanted to bring at the time. We don't know how to break it to my mother in law who gets very jealous every time we mention that we're doing something with my parents. To be fair the last time we went on a trip was with everybody, my parents,husband ,Me and my mother in law. That was last year on a cruise and by the end of it me and my husband wanted to pull out our hair and felt like we didnt relax but worked a full week instead. We have gone away before (my parents and me and my husband) without her and and she got upset /tried to guilt trip us. Every family function for a year we had to hear about it. This year my parents had booked a condo and invited us. There is another room technically that she could stay in. However me and my husband as well as my parents do not want her there because she is overbearing and downright annoying. The problem is she is going to know we went away. One because I plan on sharing pictures of the vacation on social media and two no one's gonna be at the house. She is one to make unannounced visits and constantly call or text my husband. She is widowed so I understand that she is l lonely but she also has a habit of relying too much on her son who just wants to have some space and a vacation where he can relax. Besides the cruise vacation, The last time we all " vacationed" was for our wedding. We got married in the midst of covid and decided to have the wedding in SC where restrictions on gatherings were more relaxed. She was unbearable to say the least and we ended up having to cater to her the whole week. Even though the week was supposed to be about us. She refused to drive, get a rental car or take an uber so alot of our time was carting her around or driving a half hour back and forth to the airport. We are both at a loss on How to break it to her without having to hear her mouth or be guilt tripped for months about it. We're tired and her behavior is causing my husband to question if he even wants her in his life. Every time my parents are brought into the situation she gets jealous because she feels like she's not involved or wants to invite herself. However if the tables are turned things are different. So I turn to you the people of the internet please help.

Hi guys, am travelling to Iceland next month. Am a bit confused as to what currency will purchases be billed if I pay via card (MasteVisa).
I plan to carry a forex card as my main mode of payment, though it's not possible to load ISK in it from my home country so will be loading euros or USD.
I believe there will be a cross currency mark up fee of around 3-4 percent if transactions are in any currency other than that loaded (euro or USD), so if payments are accepted in ISK then the mark up fee will be charged on every transaction.
How can I avoid this? Can I request the merchant (restaurant, car rental etc) to swipe in Euro or USD? If yes then does the merchant have their own charges in the conversation or is it the euro or USD equivalent of the prices (restaurant menu etc)?
