What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
I enjoy gaming, id like to be able to run the newest games but i dont care about max graphics or anuthing like that. My go to games are overwatch and rpgs that dont require much power.
I will also be using my computer for work and school. For that i use VMs, code editing apps and some other stuff like wireshark and tcpdump but nothing my 14 y/o pc cant handle now so im assuming its not very relevant, just trying to be specific.

I want to preface this with I do have an appt with my doctor, but it’s in 2 weeks. Came here to find out some basic answers as my doctor’s office is closed for the weekend and wanted first hand experience.
I suspect I might have ovarian torsion. Symptoms are: bloating, pain, constipation, cramping, nausea, vomiting and just feeling gross. Today I also had an ultrasound on my kidneys and bladder and they found a 6 cm cyst on my ovary.
In talking with a friend who has a daughter (8 years old), she said that I couldn’t have it as I’d be double over in pain and I wouldn’t be able to tolerate it, as her daughter has had it and had surgery for it not long ago.
I’m 6 months post op and have endometriosis, adenomyosis and PCOS. I’m not the best person to talk about extreme pain, since I’ve lived with it for so long.
My question is if you have lived with chronic pain, and you had confirmed ovarian torsion, what did the pain feel like?
Prior to the past 3-4 weeks I was feeling great.
I’ve messaged the doctor (they’re gone for the weekend), but am wondering if I should go to the ER.

I would like to see Ruby be on her own for a while and truly grow as a person. No edge lord shit but see her grow up some. I honestly would like to see her quit being a huntress for a time and go on a journey to find out who she is. The other 3 members of the team have all had the chance to confront their traumas over the course of a volume like they did in volume 4. It would be great to see the same here.
If this happened, how I would see it after escaping the ever after she just lays down Crescent Rose and tells everyone she is done. She just vanishes and finds a small village to live in for a while. She learns to live for a while and finds peace in just being Ruby. Maybe she makes a new group of friends or maybe she meets someone who guides her. Either way, she finds her own meaning for life and redefines who she is as a person.
Something forces her to come back and fight or maybe the group realizes that a silver eyed warrior being strong enough to defeat Salem is what they need. Ruby is the only one who can. Either way Ruby comes back to fight not for a fairy tale or to live up to her mother, but because she has a more defined reason to be a huntress. One that she chooses for herself. She chooses to live in joy than in despair.
I think about this with my own life. I dealt with a lot of depression, living up to my own expectations and following my own dreams. I made a ton of mistakes as an adult. It took me going off on my own and learning to be kind to myself before I began to learn that I can determine the life that I led. Everything is a ultimately a choice between living in pain or peace. In a way, watching Ruby deal with this reminds me of my younger self. It is kind of strange.
Friends and family can help anchor you and pull you out of the hole. But you have to be the first to try to climb out of it first. That is a choice.
I think it’s fitting that the final relic represents choice in this case. Ruby fights Salem with her friends because she choose do so. She refuses to be afraid because she chooses life over fear, hate, and despair. That choice will make her stronger than Salem, a being who could not stomach the pain of being alone and destroyed the world because of it.
Sadly I think it is unlikely this show gets more than final season to wrap everything up. It is kind of a shame because the writing finally got good. I have been a fan of the show forever but this is the first time where the show resonated with me.

Then you have a timer of 3 minutes to create a outfit from a wardrobe in the game, completed by walking down the catwalk and striking a pose at the end for judges! Other Avakins can judge outfits , winner in 3 rounds gets 500 Ava coins.
Let the winners WIN gems / Ava coins or .. I know this probably won’t happen but even some small amounts of crowns (with a limit of how many times they can win the crowns a day)

The last time I played/collected would have been Crossroads of Chaos just as synchros were introduced, so I've got a lot to catch up on. I'm learning with Duel Links and rewatching the anime for nostalgia sake. Unfortunately I got rid of my collection around the same time so I'll be starting from scratch.
I'm stubborn in this way but I always preferred non-meta decks, although I enjoyed HEROs/Neo Spacian that's about the closest thing to meta that I tried. For example in 2009 my main was a rock type/sphinx field control deck that worked really well at locals. Would like to dabble in that again for old times sake and combine old cards with new.

1. Is Duel Links the suitable way (compared to Master Duel) to ease back into the game, or will the 3 card speed duel format make it messy if I eventually decide to return to the TCG?

It was at Comic-Con. A friend and I had spent a painstaking amount of time making a 1-1 recreation of Solaire’s armor and helm from Dark Souls 1. It looked so good.
The day arrived when I would don the chain mail (that part I purchased) and venture to the convention center.
It was magical. I wasn’t recognized by everyone (and there were even some people who thought I was King Arthur and continually approached me with the quote “we are the knights who say NI!”). However, everyone who recognized me as Solaire wanted a picture with me doing the “Praise the Sun” gesture from the Souls games.
One particular instance of this was particularly memorable. I just so happened to be standing next to the autograph line for none other than Jessica Nigri, one of the most famous cosplay artists in the convention scene.
While I stood there, I was approached by a group of individuals for a picture. Someone in the line for Jessica shouted “Praise the Sun!” At maximum volume just as I completed the gesture.
What followed was madness. For a good straight minute, the entire line (which was somewhere between 80-100 people) all began to join in. They faced me, mimicked my gesture, and shouted “Praise the Sun!”in unison. It was spectacular. I took of my helmet and greeted a few of the people in the line who wanted to know how some of my outfit was made.
Later on (in plainclothes this time so I could enjoy the con), I passed by the line again. Only this time I was stopped by Jessica herself who complimented my cosplay and my way with the crowd (despite the fact that I didn’t initiate it).
It is likely that no one will ever read this, but if you somehow found this and got this far, thanks. This moment meant a lot to me and I’m glad to share it with you.

Earlier, me and my GF were having a general discussion about it and then she said she doesn’t support that when parents raise their kids up, and when they’re older, they should be sending them half of their monthly salary every month. She said she thinks that’s wrong and if parents had you by mistake, or gave birth to you to only raise you up and ask/demand money from you, then it’s wrong?
The way I was brought up and with my culture, I believe it’s right to support your parents as they are older, I’m not saying to send half of your salary every month to them, but a little every month or two whenever they need it?
Since I moved out, I’m paying half with my GF for our rent here and I’m still paying the whole rent monthly for my mums flat as she is of old age and isn’t able to work anymore due to health problems.
I asked my GF what she thought about how I support my mum every month by paying all her rent, she says she’s learned to accept it but said she’s got health problems so it’s harder for her.

Hello my name is Adrien I'm 22 and I'm looking for two more players to hopefully be a permanent mainstay in my group. I love to roleplay and do voices for my npc's. The theme of my world is classic dnd fantasy with some inspiration drawn from Tolkien, Warcraft, Elder Scrolls, just a lot of stuff I love really. But thats just inspiration, nothing is actually dragged and dropped into my world, this is all still my design.
The story will occasionally go from classic dnd fantasy to more dark fantasy and even horror. I would prefer players with enough experience to where I won't have to hold their hand in creating their characters. I would like for you to make an in depth character that lives and breathes in my world. I want them to have personality and a backstory that I can use either for you or against you in the long run. My dream is to have this be an RP heavy campaign like Critical Role or something like it. You don't have to do a voice but it would make me very happy if you tried.
I have a request and it may not seem fair. Two of my players are either homebrew classes or something UA. You don't have to, but I would prefer if you made your class from any official content. All the wacky abilities and features of the unofficial nonsense my friends are using gives me a headache. To make sure nobody steps on each others toes here are the classes and races of the current party. Gnome Cleric, Lizardfolk Necromancer, and Eldarin Mystic.
This is campaign of gods fighting dark beings, fanatical religions ruling over countries and fear slowly dominating all. Here is a short little story for an idea of the state of the world and what not.
Welcome to Kos (not inspired by Bloodborn). Three continents that sit within The Dead Sea. These continents are Drakus, a volcanic hellscape where war is never ending and dragons rule. Mocuthos, a beautiful safari with wide valleys and dense jungles. The Catfolk have built a strong empire here and have lived peacefully for centuries. Then there is Vasuria, a continent of lush green hills and thick forests. Where the humans have built their kingdoms and kings either war or make peace with each other. This is where our story takes place. Roughly a month a massive beam of purple energy was shot into the heavens. Following the beam was blast of the same dark energy that radiated throughout all of Kos. Soon terrifying creatures made of shadow began attacking in the night. A war has broke out between the pious Tomerians and Steel hearted warriors of the north. Giants have been slowly congregating, growing in large numbers and forming groups. They have raided villages and some have even attempted attacks on larger, walled settlements. With all these troubles brewing the heroes of the realm have not been seen to defend it. Shadows crawl and not all is as it seems as an ancient forgotten powers rises from the depths of history.

I'm looking for feedback on a homebrew sorcerer subclass. I enjoy the space/stars theme but do not enjoy any existing classes/subclasses with the theme. I also enjoy having a pet, but don't enjoy the pet classes/subclasses available. I made this homebrew subclass in order to have a little of both in a way that satisfies both categories.
The origin story is that you gained your powers from a dying star that becomes reborn through you and activates your sorcerous powers in the process. The entire subclass is basically a defensive one with a pet thrown into the mix, and some features are usable or active based on whether or not the pet is summoned. The pet is weak in general but I designed it that way as it can be resummoned repeatedly (with an action). This might change or I might weaken the pet if people consider that aspect too strong.
I spent the most time making the level 1 and 14 features, so the level 6 and 18 features might not be tuned. The level 1 feature involving death is more of a feature for my next character's backstory but I felt like I could make it fit into the subclass.
Hopefully this post formats properly, as I copy-pasted it from a Word document. As soon as I have it 100% fine-tuned, I'll use one of those websites to make it look fancy. I put dashes to separate each feature, and the pet stat block is in the first feature.

The Star Spirit
At 1st level, you can call upon the star spirit within your body. As an action, you can pull the spirit from your body and summon it in a physical form.

The spirit is friendly to you and your companions, and it obeys your commands. See its game statistics in the accompanying Star Spirit stat block, which uses your Proficiency Bonus (PB) in several places. You determine the spirit's appearance, except it is spectral.

In combat, the spirit shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. Your bond with the spirit allows it to know which actions and movements you would want it to take. The actions can take can be one from its stat block or some other action.

The spirit remains until it is reduced to 0 hit points, until you use this feature to summon the spirit again, or until you dismiss it as a free action. The spirit immediately returns to your body when it vanishes, and anything the spirit was carrying or wearing in that moment is left behind.

Starlight Armor
At 1st level, the essence of the star spirit enhances your natural defenses. You gain resistance to radiant damage and a +1 bonus to your AC.

Eternal Soul
At 1st level, if you would die, the star spirit absorbs your body and soul to protect it. While absorbed, the time limit on raising you from the dead is paused, your body is fully restored of any missing parts, and the star spirit becomes immune to everything but can only use its turn to speak or move.

The star spirit is used instead of your body to raise you from the dead with an appropriate action, at which point your body reappears in the nearest unoccupied space.

Astral Guard
At 6th level, you can call upon your star spirit's power to deflect and absorb damage.
​
As a reaction when an enemy makes an attack against you, you can impose disadvantage on the attack roll. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

In addition, if any attack made against you with disadvantage misses, you can absorb some of the energy in the air created by the attack. You restore hit points equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.

Spectral Drift
At 14th level, you can freely move through the air as if you were drifting through space. You gain a flying speed of 20 feet and can hover. This effect ends if your hit points are reduced to 0, at which point your rate of descent slows to 20 feet per round and you take no falling damage upon reaching the ground.

In addition, while your star spirit is not summoned, you can expend 1 sorcery point to become incorporeal for 1 minute. While incorporeal, you can move through objects and creatures as if they were difficult terrain. You can not summon your star spirit while inside an object, and you take 5 force damage if you end your turn inside an object. If this effect ends while you occupy the same spot as an object or creature, you are immediately shunted to the nearest unoccupied space that you can occupy and take force damage equal to twice the number of feet you are moved.

One with the Cosmos
At 18th level, you and the star spirit become one with the cosmos. You and your star spirit gain immunity to radiant damage, and you gain a +1 bonus to your AC.

In addition, you can use your action to transform into a being of pure cosmic energy. While in this form, you gain the following benefits:

• Ranged attacks have disadvantage against you.
• You can fly up to twice your flying speed.
• You can disengage as a bonus action.

While your star spirit is summoned, it also gains the benefits of your transformation. While your star spirit is not summoned, you gain a +3 bonus to your AC against melee attacks while transformed.

You remain in this form for one minute. You can't enter this form again unless you finish a long rest, unless you spend 6 sorcery points to do so again.
