I really do love GameStop, but there has to be a line. I'm upset and sad for having to do what I need to for GameStop to realize that they are going in the wrong direction. I'm even more distraught for all of my regulars. I hope you can all understand, but someone has to try and get GameStop to realize what they are doing is wrong. I will miss my store very much and all the guests, regulars, and all the friends I've made. SL2 and all the staff but one walked out with me today. I wish you all the best of luck and I truly do hope that GameStop will go back to its roots and be the place that we all once loved and be that place we all wanted to go to.
For everyone that is choosing to stay, get paid your worth if appointed SL2. Don't listen to the "Double Bonus" they try pushing on you. It's the same tactic as "We Recommend" to get you to agree for doing more work and less pay. That big number for the bonus is an enticing number, but that's only once a quarter bonus. Depending on how your store does determines your bonus and now you have 2 stores to worry about. ASK QUESTIONS! What's the pay, what's the max bonus pay out, will I get overtime, and will I be getting mileage.
I was informed $17.25 was the best they could do and they got rid of mileage. They offered ASL to my associate when offering me SL2 and then denied them the promotion until they got it approved from higher upper management. My associate informed me that upper management went behind my back and contacted them denying them ASL because I didn't need it a few days ago. Then the day we all decided to walk out, upper management called them and offered them the ASL position if they stayed. We are TIRED of all the BS! I truly do love GameStop and would be willing to come back if they fix everything and make the priority #1 our associates, #2 our guests, and then #3 the company. I had proven that running the store that way works! Last year we were 6 out of 6 year to date and 5 out of 6 last quarter of the year for the metrics! But higher upper management didn't like how I ran the store. During that store visit, I was indirectly told to fire the entire staff. They wanted me to write everyone correctives to the point of getting them fired. It DOESNT MATTER if one associate doesn't get 1 metric. My staff all achieved every metric except for one and that's because we spoke with our guests. We were understanding. If you can't afford to buy pro right now, get it payday. GameStop makes it mandatory for SL's to work Friday and Saturday. I got all the Pro sign-ups because my staff spoke with our guests. It's thanks to my team that the store was successful. Individual metrics matters, but what matters most is that they are informing our guests. So long as they are informing our guests, they did their job. We can't force anyone to spend their money. So long as THE STORE meets the metrics, that's all that should matter. If GameStop is willing to hear me out, I would be willing to become the head of customer relations and store operations, but if not, at least hear me out on what most if not ALL of gamestop employees, guests, and i know would benefit the company. PROFIT should not be #1. I met a regular that gave me the best advice that GameStop needs to consider. It is as follows: "I would rather make 1 million dollars on 1 million sales than to make 1 million on one sale."

Title says it. I didn’t fully lock my lock while I was visiting my night job in a semi-urban car oriented area (Williamsburg, VA). I was only inside a few minutes. They left there very unsafe junker to ride so I took off on it in the direction my bike was pinging. Called the police who picked me up, we found it. They got the guy looking for his bike I had ridden away. So. I had it wrapped in several layers of plastic wrap under the seat, not visible unless you have the bike turned upside down.

2023.04.01 07:03 Kodiak2582 So I filled out the medical form wrong for a class 3. I’m not an airline pilot, not a CFI, don’t fly for hire in any capacity. I recieve benefits from the VA. Am I and should I go to jail or prison?

I fly out in the middle of nowhere when I do fly. I only reapplied for a class 3, because, I was pressured and uniformed. I’m worried I’m going to jail or prison. I don’t actually want to fly anymore, I just want to live my life. But I’m concerned they will make an example of me.
I applied around 1.5 years ago, I think I flew one time. I got a letter of correction from AAM-300 a week ago saying, the VA had sent them information about my diagnosis from the military. It’s mental health related. Should I ignore, should I give them all the records?
A part of me thinks if I “come clean,” they will let me go off with a revocation and not be able to fly again, another part thinks it’s just a way for them to collect records and use it against me.
Should I respond? Should I not? Either way I’m grounded. I just don’t want to go to jail or prison. Anyone reading this, don’t misrepresent your medical, have an attorney or someone else qualified review your medical before applying.

Phase 3) Crafting Your Offer

All posts must adhere to the following rules:

Your Reddit account must have a verified email in order to participate in the commerce thread. This is to help cut down on fake accounts and scammers.
All top-level posts must start with WTB, WTS, WTT, or FREE; otherwise they will be deleted by the automod. For general questions or suggestions, you can also use INFO.
WTS posts must include a price; no "make offer" posts will be allowed.
WTS/WTT posts must contain a photo of the item with the username and the date plainly visible on a piece of paper to prove the item is real and in your possession.
WTS/WTT posts must indicate whether the item is new or used. There is no grey area.
WTS posts must include the cost of shipping. The seller is responsible for an item, including insurance/loss claims, until item is received by the buyer. International buyers assume their own risk and should discuss shipping, insurance, and customs issues before purchasing.
Commercial resellers are limited to 1 "for sale" post per month. Do not spam the thread.

Posts that do not meet these requirements will be removed without warning.
If your post gets blocked by the automod for not meeting rules, then please repost with the corrections made. Edits are not recognized by the automod.

Reminders:
There is always risk when doing online commerce. Mods hold no control over deals and do not endorse any particular users. If a deal goes bad, message us proof of what happened and we will try to eliminate any scammers from the sub.
Be wary of users contacting you by PM instead of in the thread. Banned users can still read posts and send PMs. This is a red flag that they may be a scammer.
If using Paypal, pay via Goods and Services - DO NOT use F&F payments. This protects both the buyer and the seller. Other payment methods such as Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, Apple/Samsung/Google Pay, etc., are use at your own risk and not recommended due to lack of buyer protection.
If a deal seems too good to be true, then it probably is!

2023.04.01 07:00 StepwiseUndrape574 Latest GTA 6 Rumors Allege Vice City Return But Its Release Date Is Another Question

It seems like we have been hearing rumors about Grand Theft Auto 6 since the beginning of time, though in reality, it has only been almost that long. If you were hoping for some clarity with a release finally being around the bend, well, brace yourself—we could be in for several more years of rumors, not just weeks or even months.
Naturally, the folks at Rockstar Games are not offering up any juicy tidbits about the inevitable release. So everything we know, or think we know, has come by way of leaks and rumors. To that end, multiple leakers are reporting that GTA 6 might not come out until 2024 or even sometime 2025. As things stand right now, YouTuber Tom Henderson says the next version of GTA is very early in development.
Henderson notes that, historically, he has not been associated with GTA leaks (he's been more plugged into the Battlefield scene), but the information he shared in a YouTube video is based on what he has heard from multiple sources. He is not the only one that is hearing GTA 6 is still several years away from being released, either.

Given the success of GTA Online, it seems Rockstar Games might not be in a rush to push out another major release. At the same time, it's said the developer is focusing "very heavily on employee well being," which in part means avoiding the crunch that precedes a game's release. However, there is at least one other factor at play as well.
It's said GTA 6 will launch on PC and the latest generation game consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S). By taking its time in releasing GTA 6, Rockstar Games will have a much wider audience of compatible console owners to drum up sales. And while not mentioned, the same could be true in the PC space, as hopefully discrete GPUs will be plentiful again by the the time GTA 6 arrives.
As for the setting, Henderson says GTA 6 will in fact mark a return to Vice City. Rockstar Games may opt to add more locations to the map over time (post launch), but it looks like a modern take on Vice City is headed to the GTA universe.
Given how much we had playing Grand Theft Auto V when it came to PC several years ago (and still holds up today), we're excited to see what GTA 6 brings to the table, even if it means waiting another 3-4 years.

Specific topic for This month

We have recently seen an increase in "Reserved" posts on the subreddit. These are welcomed and protect both the buyer and the seller by vetting for banned scammers, and help to increase trust by documenting successful transactions via flair. To that end, we've made an update to the rules in support of that, effective today:

Transaction feedback. For sales from a WTS post, feedback can be left on the originating sales post via the flair bot. For sales from the pinned WTB thread, please make a new [WTS] post that includes “RESERVED” in the title. Your post must follow all of the normal subreddit rules and include a link to the originating [WTB] comment. Flair shall not be granted for sales originating from outside /watchexchange. Instructions on using the flair system can be found here. Only the buyer and seller may leave feedback. For negative or neutral feedback, you may use /WatchExchangeFeedback. More info.

This update is intended to bolster the trustworthiness of the flair system by reducing the risk of flair farming, and allowing your mod team to investigate problems by documenting the end-to-end transaction as it happened on this subreddit.

Logistics:

Sales and trades made here do not qualify for reputation on BoardGameExchange.
If you are interested in an offer, leave a comment under their listing, and/or PM them about a potential trade. Be civil and courteous.
The buyer will pay the shipping costs, unless you plan to work out your own arrangements. Be mindful of geography. Use shipping tracking numbers, and share them with your trade partner.
Shippers are expected to properly package their games for shipping. Poor shipping practices are unacceptable. Use tracking numbers and communicate them with your partner!
Both parties will leave feedback underneath the comment in the Bazaar thread. Be truthful, and blunt. (Also, it is recommended that you setup/leave trade feedback through BGG).
Spell your items correctly, in full. (for search purposes).
