Everything For Jackson (2016) - I heard good things about it on the sub and it really did turn out to be good. A cool story idea done well, it's original which is nice. Definitely worth watching. I have some questions about the movie, especially the ending, but all in all I really liked it. (7/10)
We Go On (2016) - another very decent movie. It has a bit of a goofy feel to it at first, but the protagonist really grew on me after a while, especially because I find him extremely relatable with his fear of death. Eventually it doesn't really say anything too deep about the topic but it gives you a sold ghost story. Maybe it's not a fantastic movie but it has something. (6.5/10)
I See You - This is like an average Law & Order SVU ep turned into a movie when it comes to the quality of the story. There's no real plothole, there are twists and it's all fine, but you also don't get that immersed into the characters to feel the stakes or have some strong opinion about who is capable of what - you accept the plot cause the movie tells you so. A much better movie on this similar topic is The Treatment (2014). But this is a good easy watch when you don't feel like anything too heavy and need an easy to follow crime story with twists to keep you engaged. You'll enjoy the watch and never think of it later. (5.5/10)
13 Sins - It's a fun movie, an ok concept but the story becomes too absurd towards the end, I don't think it made sense that they involved both his brother and father, why such focus on that family? It ends as if there's a happy ending but such a powerful organization will easily fuck him up or kill him now. I think I just don't like the whole part where this organization is some top 1% who control everything and do this for entertainment, just seems so stupid. It would have been better if they were not made to sound so omnipotent or were even just one psycho with a good incentive. So overall it's fun to watch for a bit but the story is weak the moment you think about it. But it's forgettable so you won't overthink it (5/10)
Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011) - another thriller, this one is about a girl who escaped a cult and then goes to live with her sister and her husband. It got me interested for a while but then I feel like there was no payoff and at one point you just stop learning more about the story. It suggested some potentially interesting plotlines that didn't get developed, so it's a bit of a letdown. Sets the stage well but then doesn't do anything with it. Not bad though (6/10)
Suspiria (2018) - I'm glad I saw it, I didn't want to at first. It's very different than Argento's movie, IMO it shouldn't have called itself Suspiria but just do their own story and call it a homage. Doesn't matter though, the movie is not bad but it's way too long. The Olga dance was cool. The overall story is whatever, basically Suspiria if you try to make it make sense (this doesn't contradict my previous point that it's a totally different movie, since in the original the story was completely irrelevant... this one approached it by taking that story and trying to make it into something). It's a good movie, looks good, drags a bit in some parts, but in the end it didn't get me to think about it too much after watching. I can easily see why someone would love it though (7.5/10)
Creep 2 - not as good as the original but it's not shit. It feels gimmicky with the whole "let me rationally talk about being a serial killer" documentary style, but the performance is good. Sara isn't an annoying character. I didn't fully love the ending, I think it should have ended with him killing her and feeling happy he got his motivation back, because that's the point. I liked the moment he did stab her and then say he won't be dying that night after all, so that was good in terms of his character intent, but imo it didn't need to drag on so much from him wanting to kill both of them to chasing her, he should have just killed her quickly, just like that, like she's nothing. That would be effective. I don't think it made much sense for her to make it out alive (and so she didn't even call the cops after and just went home with multiple stab wounds lol?) Instead of that ending that suggests he's still alive it would have been much better if he just killed her there. (6/10)

On one boring day in October 2022, I decided to hit it up on Omegle to find someone to talk to. I came across a girl named Maria who introduced herself as an introvert and also enjoys watching creepy documentaries. I already knew we have a lot in common in that first online encounter, so I asked her if we can move to Instagram to get to know her more.
It was the 25th of December 2022 and I guess this is now the time for me to confess how I’m actually feeling. I was prepared to let her go that time because it seemed like she was not that interested anymore in keeping the conversation going.
I asked her, “If I court you, would you give me a chance?” To my surprise, she told me she was open to giving me a chance, but she has to focus first on her studies. The whole Christmas break was like me living in a fairytale. After I confessed, I noticed her sweet language all of a sudden.
I first thought that the ideal girl doesn’t exist at all, so I need to lower my standards when finding the right woman, but it was a different case here, and I believe she’s the most compatible woman for me.
From January 2023 to the 3rd week of February, it was nothing but sweetness. We’d exchange poems together, sweet chat lines, pick-up lines, and we were even talking about the meetup which is a big problem because she was a thousand miles away.
The last week of February came and she seems busier than usual. There were times when she’d reply after 1-2 days, but I was very understanding because she told me last Valentine’s that we need to focus on our goals first.
I asked for reassurance last March 9 and told me that she’s just at a point in her life where she’s just busy with her studies and almost has little to no time for her family. This is something that I appreciated and admired so much from her because I knew that she was determined on working toward her goals.
After 2 weeks, we still weren’t talking a lot as much as we used to. Eventually, her replies would take up to 3 days. I asked her last Saturday if it would be better for us to give it a break for now, and we’d talk again by the time we’re both ready again.
No reply up to this day.
At this point, I’m trying my best not to let my feelings take over my well-being. Late at night, I remember the sweet lines we exchanged together, and how things could’ve worked out if we were still together.
I’m in my last year now as a college student, and there were times when I felt like I should be studying for my dream career, but here I am trying to process everything.

My ex-girlfriend, 20F at the time and I, 21M at the time, broke up about 4 years ago after two years of dating. It was a tumultuous period for me, and it was very hard for me to get over her considering the circumstances of the breakup and how closely aligned/close we were before. But, after counseling and general psych stuff to work on abandonment issues, I moved on. I have been focusing on my career and life ambitions and I am currently in a relationship with someone else that I have been seeing for about a year.
The issue is, about 6 months before I started seeing this new person - I ran into my ex at a party. She told me she still loved me and asked if I felt the same way - I wanted to say yes but I didn't and I don't know why. I think maybe out of some unforeseen need to 'get back' at her. But, the worst part is that I realized I did still love her. We tried to be friends briefly, but after she started seeing someone - she said we shouldn't talk anymore.
I tried to move on again and when I started dating this new person, everything was fine for quite some time. Unfortunately, my ex and I have started to work in the same area of the CBD, so I see her often. Whenever I do, my stomach feels sick, my knees go weak and I get all clammy - not able to think straight for the next few hours. This is a very unfamiliar feeling for me as I do not feel this way at all regarding any of my other exes.
We ran into each other a professional networking event, but after chatting briefly - she said she would be right back and I hid amongst a crowd of people I didn't know in order to avoid the pressing questions I knew she would have about my life (has been this way before). I saw her looking for me in the crowd, but I didn't go to her. After I recovered from my stupor, I went to look for her and realized she had left early. I decided to message her, but after two exchanges, she left me on read.
We obviously have unfinished business, but I'm not sure how to approach it with her. I'm still seeing this person and for all intents and purposes I assume she's still seeing the same person she was last year. I have no idea what to do generally, but I have some ideas to bounce off the wall.

1. I still love this person, but don't want to hurt my current partner. However, I need closure. How do I go about asking my ex for this closure without creating an environment where she feels like I'm trying to pressure her one way or the other?
2. If you think this is too far gone, how do I go about moving on so I can get to work without feeling like I shouldn't have eaten breakfast?
3. If this isn't too far gone, is it even a good idea to break up with my current partner and roll the dice on someone I haven't been with in years? Without knowing if she still feels the same way?

TL;DR: Been broken up for 4 years and still can't get over my ex. Doesn't help that last year she said the same thing. Wondering what to do about it because I see her very regularly and have stupidly strong physical reactions to it. Both have partners, but I can't get her out of my head.

Hi guys, so I’m on day 6 now and it’s been an absolute rollercoaster😬
Day 1 - felt fine, very anxious because I was nervous for side effects. Day 2 - felt even more anxious, upset stomach - but I did sleep well and my appetite is still good. Day 3 - anxious but left the house, did some things I’ve been finding challenging lately which was good! did have a big cry in the evening but felt better afterwards.
