Hello reddit people. I recently got my DSAT scores back. And I'm not satisfied with it. I could've done a lot better given the amount of effort I gave. However I can not sit for it again due to financial constaints. I'm skeptical whether or not should I apply this fall given my country admission tests are likely to overlap US admission process. I'm also confused about what kind of colleges should I apply to given that I need as much as financial aid I can get. My preferred major is Applied Statistics/Engineering science/Women And Gender Studies (minor)

Also I believe uni life is supposed to be full of memories besides academics. So a uni with a fun social life alongside a proper learning environment is preferable..please suggest me what kind of college goes with me. Also should I go test optionals rather than reporting this score?

So I’ve been racking my brain over this because I’m a gross overthinker
2018 F-250 Crew Cab Short Bed. 4.5” Carli Pintop with their radius arms and full leaf pack. 40x13.50r17
I will be putting down about 650rwhp/1300rwtq in the next week or so. Planning for more as budget (and drivetrain) allows.
Truck gets driven maybe 5k/yr, mainly running errands. I don’t tow or haul much, if ever.
Goal is to go fast, anywhere.
Carli suggests no traction aids in the rear, or a shackled/floating ladder bar if I must. PMF says screw a ladder bar, get single bar traction bars (they make both). Everyone else says get PMF of UOU. Fabtech makes a ladder bar but it’s meh at best. BDS’s Recoil Bar has an interesting concept.
I was trying to research today about how much traction bars would actually limit articulation. One article said traction bars were basically radius arms in the rear… which got me thinking. Carli opted for radius arms in the front over a 4-link, giving up some articulation. How much articulation would I be actually be giving up in the rear with a 60-70” traction bar? What is the likelihood of me being in a situation where one of my rear wheels wants to move forward as the suspension cycles?
My biggest issue here is not actually being in this situation, but spending so much on a carli lift and power upgrades, and not being able to marry the two without compromise.
TL;DR Need traction bars. Don’t want to lose Carli’s travel/ride comfort/articulation.

College essay was terrible. Lots of colleges complimented it but I'm confident that's just what they do. I spent a good amount of time, but it was baaaad.

As per title. Managers are forcing me out of my lovely windowed office, into a depressing cupboard. HR can’t help. What can I do/leave behind before I’m kicked out that will ahem “compromise” the office without it being traceable to me. I have about 4 weeks.

So my ex gf of 3 years broke up with me early February complete blindside. This is the 3rd time she has done this. The first 2 times I convinced her to keep going and we turned the relationship around each time into something healthy but she seems to keep following the same pattern. We had a closure talk to get my stuff back about 2 weeks after and even still there was not much of a reason other than her being overwhelmed, scared, unsure, etc. Basically all the non sense reasons.
I woke up to a long apology text the following day that she sent about 5AM and it was still a very self centered text and felt like it came more from guilt rather than empathy. I decided to not respond to it as I was tired of giving my energy. I thought I would never hear from her again and to my surprise I got a text today following my birthday with a text that feels a lot warmer than someone who doesn’t want to speak. Might I also add the ending of the apology text before says “I promise I won’t message you again.”
Extra information the 1st time she broke up with me was 1 days before surgery. 2nd time as a few days before Thanksgiving. 3rd time was at my personal lowest recently lost my job and dropped out of graduate school. And a week before family vacation.
All of that to say I decided to block her number as the text was really upsetting and wondering what people think of it. Was it just a simple warm wishes or more than that? Thanks.
Ending of 1st text “I promise I won’t message you again, I just can’t get you out of my head and I feel like I can’t think straight. You mean so much to me and I’m so sorry for everything.”

From what I've gathered this is nothing to worry about just the fact that they have my full name is sketching me out. Any advice?

• 2/4: Submitted an online renewal and selected expedited knowing my trip was at the end of April.
• 2/12: Got email notification that passport was received and telling me shipping can take several weeks, so I upgrade to express shipping.
• 3/17-3/22: Notice that I am at the near end of the processing window of 5-7 weeks for expedited, yet my passport is still on Received (and that Dep. of State warns that In-Process will take the longest amount of time). Start freaking out more as I read Reddit horror stories and the DOS Twitter. Retain hope as some report that theirs was stuck in Received (supposedly due to glitch in system) and moved quickly through the rest. Still, stay up late checking my status as if I'll find some answer.
• 3/23: Receive email notifying me my passport is in Process.
• 3/24: Receive email notifying me my passport has shipped.
• 3/25: My passport arrives.

I have no history of drinking, smoking, or use of recreational drugs.
I wore braces for 2 years and retainers for 4 years. Eventually my orthodontist switched me to wearing a night guard retainer for my top teeth because I grind.
I floss once a day (sometimes more) and I brush my teeth twice a day.
I can feel the swollen gum in between my left canine and premolar at the front and the back, but it doesn't hurt. I noticed it this morning when I was just about to brush my teeth, it felt like there was something sitting on my tooth so I felt it with my tongue and realized it was swollen. I flossed the area gently and there was no pain or bleeding, I can only feel the swelling when I push my tongue against it.
The only thing that I can think of is trauma from flossing too hard or from eating nuts and almonds these past few days.
Should I be concerned?

Day 1 – Osaka – 1st April
Arrive in Tokyo Haneda Airport @ 07:30hrs and allow 1hr max for us to get through arrivals etc.
Pick up 14-day JR Pass from T3 JR centre and pick up pocket wifi.
Hikari from Shinagawa is 10/40 past the hour from 7 am to 7 pm
Get the Keikyu Airport Line to Shinagawa Station where we catch the Shinkansen to Shin-Osaka Station then to Osaka-Namba where our hotel is.
Hopefully, with some sleep in us from the flight and train, we will be able to explore the area around Namba/Dotonbori for lunch before heading down to Tsutenkaku via Namba Yasaka Shrine.
See Osaka Castle then to Aquarium and Ferris Wheel in the evening.

Day 2 – Nara/Osaka – 2nd April
Train from JR Namba station (45mins on Yamatoji Line – Rapid Nara).
Walk down Sanjo Dori St to Nara Park. Look out for Nakatanidou (a Japanese sweet shop). See Kofuku-ji Hokuendo on the way. Explore Park and feed deer. See Todai-Ji, Isuien Garden, and Kasuga-Taisha. Higashimuki Shopping Street.

Day 3 – Hiroshima/Himeji Castle – 3rd April
Metro from Namba to Shin Osaka then Shinkansen which runs 5-7 times per hour to Hiroshima.
See the peace park, museum, and atomic bomb dome. Okonomimura. Hondori Street
(Hopefully) Train to Himeji to see the Castle. Dinner in Dotonbori.

Day 4 – Osaka – 4th April
Get train over to USJ. Aim for 30 minutes before opening time. Will have bought the express pass 7 so have timed entry already confirmed. Plan to spend an entire day here. If we don’t have dinner there, then have dinner in Dotonbori.

Day 5 – Travel to Koyasan – 5th April
Travel from JR Namba station to Gokurakubashi on the Nankai Ltd Express train using JR Pass. Then get cable car to Koya. Bus from Koya station into town and check into Temple lodgings. Walk to Daimon Gate then walk to Kongobuji Kompon Daito Pagoda then to Kongobuji and the Banryu-tei Rock Garden. Walk through Koyasan to Okunoin Cemetery to see Mausoleum of Great Master Kobo Daishi. Head back to temple lodging for dinner and relax.

Day 6 – Travel to Kyoto – 6th April
Wake up early to see the morning ceremony. If we missed anything the day prior, do that today before heading to Kyoto and checking in to hotel. See Kyoto tower and Shoseien Garden before heading over to Kiyomizu-dera, Sanneizaka and Ninenzaka. Finish by going to Komasatsu Alley.

Day 7 – Kyoto – 7th April
San-In line to Saga-Arashiyama. Walk through bamboo grove. Walk over to Senkoji Temple before heading over to monkeys. Then head to Kinkaku-ji temple.

Day 8 – Kyoto – 8th April
Fumu-ishi nari in the morning. Nishiki fish market then head over into Gion district for an explore (Shirakawa lane, Hanamikoji Street, Maruyama Park etc).

Day 9 – Travel to Tokyo – 9th April
Shinkansen to Shinjuku and check in probably around midday. Shibuya and Harajuku – Meiji Jingu Shrine, Takeshita Street – walk to Shibuya, see the crossing and the Hachiko statue, Shibuya sky tree.

Day 10 – Tokyo – 10th April
Ueno – Ameyoko shopping district, wander around Ueno Park, head over to Senso-Ji and Nakamise-Dori street, and finish off at Tokyo Sky Tree.

Day 11 – Tokyo – 11th April
Get the train to Shimoyoshida from Shinjuku to go to the Arakurayama Sengen Park to get great views of Mt. Fuji and hopefully the cherry blossom. Last train back to Shinjuku around 5.30. Recommendations as to what to do after seeing the iconic sight.

Day 12 – Tokyo – 12th April
Go to the art aquarium, explore the Tokyo area, and go to TeamLabs. Do we need to do both? Is it best to just do the acquarium or TeamLabs? Also any recommendations for what to see or do in the Tokyo area would be appreciated.

6. The act of scripting itself is not a manifestation.
7. You’re the one who’s scripting.

• Sometimes, “I am” is beyond your current beliefs, and thus activates resistance and makes you feel worse. But “I want” can be softer, and easier to believe; which helps you allow.
• The ONLY way you could have articulated your desire, is because you’ve already manifested it!
• You were taught that when you script, you’re describing what you want to the universe. But the irony is, it’s actually the other way around — They’re describing it to you!
• When you go to write about it, Source reads off their scripts to you… and you just copy their homework.

Myth #1: Scripting is the 1st step or start of manifesting.
Some people believe scripting (or any technique) is the START of your manifestation, when it’s actually the HALFWAY point (or 3/4, 4/5, etc.).
That’s like thinking the first time you meet someone, they just poofed into thin air! \poof** And didn’t live a whole life before that. So scripting can let you know that you’re doing a great job allowing yourself to be ready for what’s already been happening.

Myth #2: Scripting has the power to manifest.
It’s simply one of a million tools to help you feel better. And when you feel better, you allow what you want. So the power doesn’t come from scripting itself; it comes from you using it to increase expectation, and thus allow your power.
It’s the placebo effect. You understand the placebo doesn’t have any power to do anything; it was your belief in it that allowed your well-being.

Myth #3: Write “I am” and not, “I want” (because that implies you don’t have it).
Source isn’t stupid, haha. And sometimes, “I am” is beyond your current beliefs, and thus activates resistance and makes you feel worse. But “I want” can be softer, and easier to believe; which helps you allow.
Words don’t mean anything (other than the meaning you give them); they’re just tools to help you feel better. This is the mind creating another hoop you have to jump through; but how you feel is all that matters.
You could write, “I want a partner who smells like fresh laundry.” Or, “I want my boss to appreciate the work I do… or explode like a confetti-filled piñata like they were touched by Jobu Tupaki.” And if that makes you smile, then you’re allowing!

Myth #4: You need to be specific on what you want.
Don’t pressure yourself thinking you need to tell Source, because they already know. Furthermore, how do you think you got those details? Your brain received them like a song on the radio. And you know the radio didn’t write the songs — it just received the songs that were already written.
Manifestation isn’t dependent on your specificity or clarity; it’s dependent on your allowing.
Can being clear help you feel better and allow? Of course! But you can get so distracted with optimizing results that you forget the basics. Being general is MORE than enough to allow the specifics of what you want.
For instance, I had no plans of writing this article. But I felt good in general, and.. here we are!
And even when detailed, you’re still assuming A LOT that you leave generally up in the air. Like with an ideal partner, you don’t completely identify their entire personality. You trust that a few specifics will cover the millions, if not billions, of other little things you want in a relationship. Hell, you don’t even specify that your partner is fully human!
Or for financial abundance, you’re not afraid that money will come ONLY in the form of pennies… that are dirty and stinky… in another country's currency… from another planet… You KNOW you don’t have to specify so that doesn’t happen.
You don’t (and can’t) realize HOW MANY specifics you want, that you never articulate. Even with your most specific desires, there’s an OCEAN of details you never described.
So even when you’re “specific,” you’re still being general. And that’s okay!

Myth #5: Writing isn’t enough; you also have to say it out loud!
What, is Source deaf? Haha.
You can do if it feels better, but what you might be saying is, “My energy is not enough. My expectation is not enough. I am not enough. I need to do more! And take more action!!” Again, that’s the mind talking (creating pointless effort errands); not your Higher Self.
Writing is more than enough; and you don’t even have to do that! You just have to focus on feeling better. That’s it. It’s really simple.
Not to mention, if someone can’t speak, does that mean they’re less powerful? … Of course not.

Myth #6: The act of scripting itself is not a manifestation.
Your mind plays a fun little trick of separating what is and is not a manifestation. When everything is a manifestation — including what’s leading up to it. So scripting, and all other methods, are manifestations, too.
And so, you manifested what to script, without previously scripting to manifest what you were going to script, haha. Does that make sense? You were in alignment to allow yourself to receive/manifest the details of what you want (and you did it so effortlessly, you didn’t even realize it).
You didn’t script, to be able to script. And yet, you still manifested the script. Which just goes to show that you don’t need to script to manifest.
(If you’re playing a game of taking a shot every time I say the word, “script,” I’m sorry… haha).

Myth #7: You’re the one who’s scripting.
Hate to break it to you, but you’re not the first one to script your desire. It’s like an actor believing they came up with their brilliant dialogue. But, you understand it was the script writers behind the scenes. Or the previous example with the radio: You’re receiving songs that are already written by someone else.
So who is this sexy, mystery, ghost writer? Your Higher Self! (So technically it is you. Just, the less spongy version).
They scripted first (with the details they observed from you as you live your life). And when there’s enough momentum behind your desire and you’re ready, when you go to write about it, Source reads off their scripts to you… and you just copy their homework.
People seem to think the Law of Attraction is just sitting around, doing nothing… waiting for the phone to ring. And only until after you script, then the Law of Attraction takes effect. But the Law of Attraction has already taken effect on your desire, because your Higher Self has already written about it long before you even became aware of it.
The ONLY way you could have articulated your desire, is because you’ve already manifested it!
It’s done (at least on a vibrational, and potentially physical, level). And since it’s done, then you receive/manifest details from your Higher Self who’s already living it and describing it to you. That’s what’s so funny with all of this.
You were taught that when you script, you’re describing what you want to the universe. But the irony is, it’s actually the other way around — They’re describing it to you!
Source is the one feeding you all of the details. If they weren’t, you wouldn’t even be able to write about them. Your mind would simply be blank; staring at the page, confused, “Uhhh…” \shrug* “I don’t know?”*
It’s almost insulting to micromanage Source, and then take credit for their hard work! Haha.
So remember: If you can script it, it’s already manifested.
