Wow. After ITSV, my expectations were high and this movie still exceeded them. Iloved every second of the movie.
To start, the art was so vivid. My favorite example of the art has to be Spider-Punk. His style is so much more unique than anyone else's. The locations were so put together and well done. I liked the colors (especially Mumbattan and Miguel's Earth).
The characters were so cool. I spent the whole time in the 2099 world admiring the cast of characters like the true fan boy I am. I got childishly giddy at the appearances of every variant I recognized. The references and clips/appearances of the live-action universes was a really cool touch. I am impressed on how well they made the Spot so deep and have a good backstory. I loved Peter and Mayday's dynamic (a huge middle finger to comic editors). The return of the ITSV crew at the end of the movie was a really awesome touch.
The soundtrack was also amazing. I loved Miguel's theme. The choices of IRL songs were also really good.
The plot was fantastic. Having it be Miles becoming independent and it being about his consequences from ITSV was a pretty good choice. Same with Gwen too. Having her face her father and fix their relationship was a wholesome arc. The stakes for Miles being high with the potential death of his father, but even greater stakes with the Multiverse collapsing were intense. Sucks they couldn't be resolved in this movie though.
Which leads me to my only complaint:
The ending.
Having it end up being Miles about to fight Prowler Miles, while Gwen and her crew were coming to save him, but then BOOM: a black screen. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO LEAVE IT ON A CLIFFHANGER LIKE THAT? I am so impatient for March 29th now lol.
Overall score: 9/10. This movie was a love letter to Spider-Man fans and I can't wait for Beyond the Spider-Verse now

I’m rewatching Rebels and have lots of opinions…
I forgot how GOOD the Grand Inquisitor looked, from day one. I’m not one for ripping on shows, I think Cad Bane looked fine. But DAMN Obi-wan did the Grand Inquisitor DIRTY. That’s CW7 level animation…
But I also forgot how BAD other animation was. The Wookiees. Lando. Explosions and dust to cover everything. Yikes.
The callbacks are a mixed bag. The whole thing is basically a love letter to Macquarie art, not just in design, but the color palettes and the whole feel. Mostly the Clone Wars stuff is good, but some is a little heavy handed. 15 years is a long time in a galaxy that forgot the Jedi in 20 years or less. Helmets behind the bar and whatnot is a little on the nose.
Overall, most fans should be watching this. It gets over the kid-ness in 2-3 episodes and by mid season 1 is dealing with prett heavy themes.

I’m born in 2001, and ever since I saw the trailer for Transformers 1 which is where I got introduced to Transformers for the first time ever when I was age 5, I was sold, and I loved Transformers 1. Ava that was the beginning. Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon came around, they’re decent, although RotF had its moments. I didn’t watch Age of Extinction and The Last Knight because Mark Wahlberg was use/hope/faithless and I didn’t want him. I liked Shia LaBeouf better and I needed him back, along with Megan Fox, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson. Then came Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts, which are the reboots to the Bayverse. I haven’t seen Bumblebee, because people who were born in the 80’s are excited to see the G1 design of the Transformers in live-action, and it’s not my type. And now, people are anticipating Rise of the Beasts, and I’m not planning on seeing it. And yes, the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons do look cool, and I wish the Bayverse Trilogy design of the Autobots and Decepticons had an encounter with them in the first place after the Trilogy.
Let’s cut to the chase. I’m not that excited for RotB, because I liked the 2000’s Bayverse Transformers a lot as a fan. I liked the design of the Transformers, the humans involved, anything having to do with the Trilogy specifically, I liked it all. It always has a place in my heart. I want more of those. I understand they’re done, but at least put them in a multiversal Transformers movie at some point. I’m sorry for me to say all of that, but that’s my personal opinion you need to accept and respect for, no need to be mad about it. In fact, I did like all other Transformers media, like Transformers Prime, and Transformers Animated, so Bayverse is not the only one. I just like the Bayverse Trilogy with a passion. Am I not the only person who likes the 2000’s Bayverse Transformers more than the ‘80s G1 Transformers for people who are born in the late ‘90s?

Movie genres I like: Animation, drama, comedy, action, psychological thrillers and science fiction. I thoroughly loved The Greatest Showman so one could say I like musicals but it's the only one I've seen so not sure if that really counts. Comic book movies are pretty alright too, but I really haven't seen anything past the first Avengers movie lmaooooo.
I say this as unpretentiously as possible, but I haven't seen most popular TV shows or movies that your average person likes. I think the last "popular" thing I watched was that Jeffrey Dahmer series on Netflix. (mainly out of morbid curiosity because everyone was freaking out about it... and because I think Evan Peters is a cutie) I only saw a few episodes and then forgot to watch the rest of it, but it wasn't as horrific as everyone was saying. Maybe I've watched too much Forensic Files and I'm desensitized lmao.

As far as computer games, the only thing I play on a regular basis is The Sims 2 and The Sims 4.
